So Proud of You all
I just wanted to say that I am impressed with this Board. There is alot of good emotional work going on, and the fact that you are willing to be so open and honest about your work and your journey is so helpful to others. I am proud of you all. I am honored to know you, and you never know who you may help with your post. INCLUDING a know it all therapist
You know, Nicole, this forum is amazing. There is a high level of trust here, and people take their input, and the input of others, really seriously. Over my time on this board, I really feel the sense of "community" - and what's even cooler is the chance we have to meet in person at support groups.
And by the way, I may be attending the Lancaster group in Feb. and March - my Saturdays are booked up with some conflicts. Will I get to meet you there?

If you are going let me know and I will try and be there. I am pretty sure I will be there for the Feb. one. I usually go for the first part and then leave as I am way too far out for that crowd they are all so new I dont feel like we are peers. I know that sounds bad but I feel more comfy with my PA Board Groups that I attend because we are all oldies.
Know it all therapist? HARDLY What you DO know you share with us, but you are never ever afraid to admit when you don't know something or, more importantly, are struggling even when you DO know what the "right" answer is!
Loooove this forum for all the reasons you and the other posts said!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I feel so very blessed that I found this forum in the beginning of my journey. I honestly don't know what I would do without the knowledge, friendship, and support I have found here. Everytime I talk to someone who is thinking about, or pre or post op I always tell them about this board. So I completely second Nicole's post.
