Wow - Click Protein

Ok, so I've had a canister of Click Protein in my cabinet since surgery.  I ordered it pre-surgery and figured out sadly, that I wouldn't be able to have it right away since caffeine was a no-no for a while.  I'm 6 months + out now and I indulge in caffeinated coffee occasionally at this point.  I'm sure I'm not the first one to talk about Click, but here's my story

Well, I was really in the mood for something to warm me up this afternoon and decaf coffee wasn't really appeal ling to me.  Then I remembered the Click in the cabinet and decided to give it a try.  OMG - it is so incredibly yummy.  It's sort of a sinfully delicious, mocha/coffee experience and I am loving life right now with my 12 oz. of the stuff.

Click Espresso Protein Drink

Now, it's certainly not going to be an every day thing for several reasons:

1) It's a little on the expensive side.  $21-25 (depending on where you get it) for only 14 servings
2) It's caffeinated
3) It doesn't pack as big of a punch protein wise as some other proteins (15g per serving - my other favorite, Nectar Fuzzy Navel has 23g and I've had others with 27g+)
4) I'm far enough out to where I'm not relying on protein drinks any longer for my protein needs - I get my protein from food.

With that said, I am going to savor my Click as a special treat once in a while and enjoy every drop of it.

Hey Lisa!

Ain't Click wonderful???    I love it too but also use it just as a special treat because of the price.  I can't wait till March---Click is coming out with a vanilla flavor!

Hi Julia !

Vanilla too !  I'll sure that will be yummy.  I'll be on the look out for that flavor too.

P.s.  I'm not going to go the meeting tonight.  Now that I'm home I don't really feel like going out again.  Let me know how it goes.

Lisa, 2 quick questions if you have a second:

I found the nutrition info but not an ingredient list.

Is coffee listed as an ingredient?

Is any form of sugar added, or are the 7 gm. of sugar from the milk product or whey?

Hi Lynn -
Yes, instant coffee is an ingrediant and it appears to me that the sugar comes from fructose, non-fat milk and sucralose (in that order). See below for ingrediant list.
