Surgery tomorrow!
I was cleared by the urologist for surgery and it's a go! Arrival is at 8:45 and surgery is at 10:30. Wow! I am terrified to say the least but there is that side of me that is excited for the future as well. My nerves are so on edge though, the fears and anxieties, the what if's... ugh.
I have given birth 4 times unmedicated, had my gallbladder out, had 2 D&C's, oral surgery, a kidney stent and 5 kidney stones... I hate needles and I ALWAYS cry on my way to the OR. God help me! lol
Oh man... please pray or think good thoughts or rev a few Harleys or do whatever it is that you do for luck and good fortune. I never really did find out what swinging animals or chickens does for you.. lol
I don't have family here (outside my husband and kids), so I will take all the good thoughts and support I can get from friends!
Thank you in advance. I am sure I will be back in no time with a zillion questions! Oh what I wouldn't do for a Valium right about now!

Wishing you the best possible recovery. Follow your surgeon's instructions to the letter and you should do fine. If something feels off, call his office and we are schooching on over to make room for another loser that will be joining our ranks!
Take care and best wishes, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

I remember feeling the same way the night before my surgery. And on the morning of surgery!!! I didn't know if I was doing the right thing and kept wondering if I was making a mistake. I'll be 7 months out on Monday, and I'm sooo happy I did this!! What you're feeling is normal. I think you'll be happy once you're past tomorrow and on the bench with us. Best of luck to you!!! Let us know how you're doing!!!
