Freak OUT!

OK, everything is changing all of a sudden:

I broke up with my BF, I have to move and my roomie is getting married.  My stomach is churning and my heart is racing!

I am totally freaking out.

Step 1: go back to all of my WLS meetings.  I might even go to pre op tomorrow... actually that's not a bad idea.

Step 2: Get back on the boards

Step 3:  I'm allout of options.

NORM where are you when I need you... tell me to STFU or whatever brand of non-nurturing comment you would like to make today.

OK guys, help a sister out LOL.

Angela,
I know I have been a bad friend. I am still reeling over my personal issues but I will call you tonight. Hang in there Deep Breaths.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

These are just a change of path - not a crisis!!!

You know we are always here - can't wait to see you on the 23rd!

Life has its way of messing things up for you, huh?!   Well, I'm having some stuff to sort too.

Take a deep breath, get back to basics... that's what I'm doing.......

Hope to see you on 1/23.

It's really just different paths and different choices for you!

You have a great plan of attack thus far and that's all you need to stick to for right now.

I know it's cliche - but seriously - there's a lot of truth in the "when one door closes...." saying.  Perhaps moving will give you more options than you had thought of.

See you later in the month!

I find that these things always work out, even though it may not seem like it with everything happening at once. I usually look at it as a chance to reinvent myself. So, relax and take a deep breath!!

YES! Self reinvention.  I am all about that... I just don't know how. ( and BTW, it's scarry!)

You're oh so right that reinvention is scary!!! Take comfort in that you're not alone. You're surrounded by your OH family. And I'm going through a reinvention too: My job ended the week before Christmas, and I'm thinking of going to school to train for something new. (4 times out of work in 9 years in my field=time for a different career.) I'm also trying to find decent but affordable health insurance now. Sure I'm scared, but I'm also curious about the outcome. We will get through all the obstacles in our way---and we'll be stronger!!!
