Slim Fast???

Has anyone used Slim Fast High protein shakes for their protein drinks?  Did you like the taste of them?  Looking for a good protein shake.  I am 3 months out and I have a stricture and was told to drink drink drink protein shakes till I get the problem settled.  Any info would be appreciated...thanks in advance!

I have but I am a lot further out and they have quite a bit of sugar. Try the chocolate  MAX protein from GNC, that's a great one!

I've never used Slim Fast.  I agree with Liz that it has a lot of sugar.  I use the chocolate Max protein, and also the chocolate chip mint Max.  EAS vanilla protein is good too, and is available at Giant.

I would stay away from them for now....too much sugar.  I love the Nectar protein powders...especially the fuzzy navel and cappuccino.  I think you can get them at vitamin world...but google it.

I was told by my surgeon & Nut to stay away from Slimfast because they have too much sugar. 

Gene and I use Isopure Zero Carb protein powder.  I get it online @Cheapvitamines.com but have also bought it at GNC.  Gene had a lot of problems with strictures after his surgery which was 4 yrs ago and that is what his surgeon & nut suggested he use.

I use Slim Fast high Protein and have since about 2 months out.  I mix it with fat free milk and some ice in the blender.  I had trouble with other protein, the taste was awful and slim fast was also in my budget.  I do not get the pre made stuff as i find it way too thick.  My nut. and doctor said it was fine to use.  I would love to try the max protein but I see that it is very expensive. 

The Atkins drinks are much better...1g of sugar and to me a better taste that I can tolerate.
