Steffi, I am taking a much needed break from Algebra but will back in full force with it again on Jan. 20th. So you haven't heard the last of my complaining yet! LOL.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I was up at 4 and out the door at 5 to catch the early train into Philly. My meeting starts right NOW...

It was fun to take the dog out early...I let her off leash so she could plow around the yard in the snow (we had about 3" and it was still falling then). Cute!

But we will wrap up at work on the early side today, and I will be home by 5-ish. Not an exciting night, just some grocery shopping and TV. Tomorrow we may take in a movie - I'm debating between Invictus and Avatar. Any suggestions?

Heather, good luck with Tucker.

Kids are off from school in Md.  We thought we were going to have a quiet day without the kids, so we could finish packing, going to Walmart to get the last of the things we need for our trip to Disney.  We are leaving the house tomorrow at 8am, or my son in law will have a nervous break down.  (he can get really testy if things don't go as he has planned, not a good way to start a vacation with him).  The cats were packed up this am, so they could return to the lady who gave them to us, to cat sit while we go away.  Everyone is feeling good, hope it stays that way.  My only concern is that I still tire easily, and do not drag the rest of them down.  ( I maybe able to get away with it as the baby is my responsibility, and I can go back to the room, using her as the reason.
Heather, hope all goes well for you and Tucker.  My heart and prayers are with you both, please keep us posted.

Just a quick check....the ride home wasn't to bad

Stopped at the store for a few odds and ends (no, not part of the french toast brigade) and packed food for work tonight.

Headed to bed VERY shortly

Don't worry - I'll try not to over do it, LOL

Morning, all!

Got to the gym ON TIME this morning, despite the snow... and we had a 1-hour delayed opening at Bucks so I got to work "early" (that meant that instead of being 3 hours behind to start today I was only 2 hours behind, I think... haha!).  TOO much to do at work, culminating in a presentation this afternoon that has now been pushed back an hour.  So it doesn't start until 3:30, which means getting out late on a friday.  Yuck.

Heather - thoughts are with you and Tucker today.

Everyone - stay warm and be careful!

Hi all. Heather you and tucker are in my thoughts and have been. Please update us.

I dont know how it is possible but I am sick again. My throat is hurting so bad, on the side like where the nodes are. If i swallow it hurts. not from the contact of anything going down the throat just the action of swallowing hurts it. If that makes sense.
I am tired and want to cry. I have a dr appt this afternoon we will see what he says. I am so sick of it. Being sick and tired makes me very depressed and when I get that bad my eating goes to hell and then I gain weight. So I am trying desperately not to have a pitty pizza party.

Went to Brader support group last night to see the PS speak. Was not too impressed, he is the one who spoke at the Pilgrimage. I think i will stick with dr herman

Spent my morning scheduling an MRI as a follow up to the ultrasound I had yesterday, :-(

My pre-surgical serenity is crumbling a bit - the MRI is on 1/19 and my surgery  is scheduled for 1/25.  I hope nothing happened to make it not happen as planned.  I'm so ready...

Good Morning Heather, PA!

Heather I am truly hoping that you get good news about Tucker's biopsy, I truly know how scary it is waiting on that kind of stuff, so please hang in there and let us know as soon as possible.   Lots of prayers and positive thoughts going out for you and Tuck!

Woke up this morning and loved what I saw, I so love the snow and there was about 2 inches in my yard and on my back porch and Roxie loves the snow also it would seem, she puts her nose right in it and eats it and then runs and jumps all about, she makes me laugh so hard at her antics and last night she stood on the back porch and kind of barked/howled at the neighbors yard (not the one next door, but the behind to the left side of my house), where I found out from my housemate that there are two big dogs (amazing what you don't know when you work all week (lol)), anyway more and more she is showing her personality, she now has become our doorbell, so I'm guessing she now knows she is home and is on the look out for what does not belong in our home.  Diane told me a funny story about yesterday, how Roxie was upstairs in her part of the house while she was cleaning and organizing her space and she pulled the trundle bed out, Roxie jumped right on it and did not want to get off, she had to be tricked and Diane said for a moment it reminded her of Dillinger. . .  seems she has one bad habit and that is chewing up some things, like Dillinger's old leash, which kind of made me sad, but not limited to that, though give her rawhide and she is fine and leaves other things alone. . . overall she is just a sweetie and I am happy to have her. . .

Well here I am at work, the week went fast enough and when I get home Tony will be waiting for me and he wants to go to PF Chang's for dinner, so I guess we will do that, then hang out, tomorrow he is going home at noon to hang with his Tailgating friends to watch the Jets game, I have a noon conference call to attend anyway, as I am in the process of getting certified by the OH board to be a "Certified Leader" and then I will do some stuff around the house. . .  oh well that's enough of my rambling. . .

You all have a good day and I will check in when I can.

Hugs, Laureen
