Finally Friday Roll Call

Good Morning Heather and PA,

I just found out we are closed.... *$&#(%^)@$)#&%)#(%&  That means we will go into the third week of June for make-up days.  I HATE snow days.  Anyway, my bff and I are heading to the gym at 8, running to Michael's craft store (she has to go I am not crafty) and then up to school to grab a few things for the weekend.

I might as well clean, do laundry and go to the market... then it will be out of the way for the weekend too.

I used to be crafty. (guess I still am) but lack the funds and time to keep up with the painting and things I love to do.

Good morning Heather and PA-  Heather my prayers are with you and Tucker I hope you get good news. My heart is with you also.  Fingers crossed too.  I woke up let the dogs out and of course my Princessy Chow Chow hates to get her paws wet hated the snow. Jasper my golden and Elton my springer love the snow and have a ball in it..  Richie the snow came despite your good wishes ugh!  I am sitting here gathering my thoughts and the one thing I swear is that both George and I are hating the cold weather and hope that in two more years to make a move down south and find a place to buy where we can keep our horses at home.  Right now he is laid off and we are trying to make ends meet.  I have never seen it this bad for this long.  Its really bad and scarey.  I have a pet sitting job this weekend so that will give us a few bucks.  Oh Norm a dishwasher?  Wow its amazing how dependent we are on those dastardly appliances.  What did we all do before them and microwaves and cell phones and ipods and the list goes on.  Wonder what the next generation will do to outdo all of this.  Everybody be careful out there today and have a great day.  Take care and be well and bundle up and stay warm.  I am going to run a few errands including food shopping and going to iron later on yes you read right I am one of the last of the dying breed or people who still iron their clothes I love the look of ironed dungarees and tops.  It actually relaxes me.

Hi all,

Today is blizzard warnings all weekend so I won't be going out much.  Saturday night is a local folk band playing at Olga's Cafe so I will probably help out there.  I am trying to do more volunteer work but so far, I haven't been doing well.  My life seems like it's just falling apart and I can't seem to stop it.  I am battling with depression and dependency and I am holding on by a thread.  I can see behaviors in me I don't like.  My pastor is getting me this book on healing and recovery.  He wants me to start a small group using this book.  I hope that helps.

I am at work - it wasn't a bad drive until I got into Horsham then the roads started getting pretty slippery. I slid past the driveway to work - oops!

I am at wor****il 4 today then off to grocery shop so I can hibernate in the house for the weekend :)

Sliding pass the driveway should have been your first clue to not go to work!

yea I know... but it was the WORK driveway I slid past and I wasn't about to drive an hour back home after that! lol

Taking it easy today. Going to work on my music library and get my cds upload again to my computer. Have some minor housework to do. I am also going to throw my Biggest Loser 2 workout video in the DVD and check it out.

Heather---I hope you get good news today!

I'm so thankful I didn't have to try to get to work in the snow this morning!  I think I'll go out and shovel in a little while.  I'd like to get the driveway and walks cleared before it freezes and turns to ice.

Hi Heather and all of PA - Heather - I am sure it has been a difficult few days - but hopefully you will have news today and can treat whatever is the problem with Tucker.  My heart and thoughts are with you today!

Had a REALLY fun night with the entire fam last night....Girl Scouts was cancelled, so we were all home....and...Larry was in a good mood!!!!!  (That always makes for a good night....he is sooo moody, but I love him!)  

Today is school with the charming 14 year olds, back to Algebra - Jodi....want to come down?!?!  after school, I am taking Josh and Emily to get their hair cut and then home to a nice quiet evening.  Larry is at work, for a change, and I don't have to get up super early tomorrow - so looks like some facebookk time, backgammon and TV.  With any luck, the kids will be as pleasant tonight as they were last night, I know....pipe dreams!

I hope you all have a nice warm Friday and take a moment to look at the snow - it really is pretty.....
