Finally Friday Roll Call

Well, its after midnight and no one has done it yet, so here it is.  I haven't been sleeping much lately so here I sit waiting to get sleepy. 

I am hoping to get the results of Tuckers needle biopsy today.  They had shaved the hair around the lump and I was looking at it tonight...didn't realize how big it was...unless it is growing.  I also noticed it is causing him pain and he NEVER reacts to pain, but he flinched and pushed my hand away when I touched it.  Poor baby! 

Other than waiting for the doctor to call, I am working until 3:30 and then heading right to BJ's..the dogs are in need of food again and I want to pick up a few bags of rawhide bones.  Molly has been stealing Tuckers bones...which is funny since she NEVER lived raw hide until recently.  I really think she is just being a ***** and giving him a hard time...its not that she actually wants to eat the bones she takes away from him. 

After that, I will probably clean up around the house and jump on the treadmill to work up a good sweat.  Nothing too exciting.

I will be working 9-2 today. That's if patients don't cancel. 99% of our patients are elderly and do not drive if there is one flake flying in the sky, so I have a feeling I won't be at work very long today.

After work I am heading to Planet Fitness. They are running a deal I cannot refuse. So I am going to take the plunge and actually join a gym.

This evening I will make dinner and hang with kiddos and hopefully get to bed at a decent time.

I know a ton of people who joined Planet Fitness around here.

They just opened another one on the other side of Allentown from the first, so they pretty much have this town covered.  Neither of them are convenient enough for me to get to on a regular basis, so I'll stick with the Gold's across the street for now.


Good for you for joining a gym!!   Do they have childcare?

No childcare. But tanning is included which will save me a ton of money and extra running.

This gym is semi convenient. But really, there isn't one that is really close, I have to make an effort to go to any.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings I have my English class just a mile away from it, so it will be real easy to run over after class. Other days, Johnny said we will just figure out. I hope I like it. I have several friends who have joined there and really like it.

I can't beat the distance between me and Gold's.. I am content there, I guess.  It's can get a little messy/dirty at times.  I just make sure I clean my own machines and deal with it for the convenience of it all.  

Childcare is included and I can tan for $5 a month.  I'm sure I'll start doing that soon.  I shudder to think about my stark white skin once the shorts come out again..

My only wish was that I had someone to workout with.  Rocco isn't really there anymore and I haven't made any friends with the people there because for the most part if they didn't walk in with someone, they don't really talk to anyone.  AND, believe it or not, I am actually kind of shy in that department.

That's one reason I wanted to join, is that I have 3 girlfriends who are workout junkies. So I have already been warned that I will be drug there by my hair if they have to. Nothing like a good old butt kicking to get me going.

I would love a trainer but not sure what those charges are, if any. But I am sure the ladies will be quite helpful since they are experienced exercisers.

I do wish they had childcare, but I think I can manage. Johnny is so sick of hearing me whine about myself, I think he'd do just about anything so I can go.

We just got a dusting of snow here, so I have a sad little girl today who was up later than normal last night and now has to go to school on time.    She's going to be pleasant, considering she didn't get a lot of sleep.  

Anyway, back to my exciting day..

Positive thoughts and prayers for you and Tucker today.

I'm slowly getting moving this morning.  Getting from NE Philly to 95 is always the worst when it snows so I'm in no hurry to get out onto the roads. 

Today I'll be in work till 4, then to Curves and home to the treadmill.

Hopefully I'll be able to knock some of my homework out during lunch today, I'm taking all my books with me.

I am up, dead awake, but not really in the mood to go to work. Of course, I will.

Shouldn't be a bad day at work today. Planning on holing myself up in my office and grinding through a lot of work and coffee.

Should be a quiet night at home tonight. I've been dragging all week, and am looking forward to just chilling. Tree comes down tomorrow, and the new dishwasher is delivered as well. WOOP.

Get my first 2010 (partial 2010) paycheck today, so I'm interested to see what my raise actually puts in my pocket even pay period.
