*****Shivering Thursday Roll Call*****

I can't shake a chill I feel, which I am beginning to believe is actually the fibro symptoms acting up.  My skin feels tingly, like I can't get warm.  I had the thermostat at 74 last night, and could not shake that feeling.  Now, I can't sleep also, and feel like crying and, well, it isn't pretty.  The good news, I am not drinking over it.  The bad news, I have to get up for work in a few hours.

Thursday has me dragging myself to school to educate the darling kids on the cultural history of South Africa.  Then, I am home to unpack at least three boxes.  I am also on call to volunteer for the Code Blue work at my church, should it be cold enough.  Here is a Fox 29 article that ran over the weekend.

I would love to PM anyone with fibromyalgia to ask about particular symptoms, other than pain.  One big question is, if I feel like I am losing most of my marbles, and can't think clearly, does that go with fibro, or just me being over 50, and a ditz?

Hugs,
Trish

Another day out the door early - headed to the train for a day working at the office in Philly. Then straight to the gym after work. (I skipped yesterday - it was the only day of the week I was going to get to have dinner with hubby).

After the gym...home again....and probably early to bed. No...the dog will want to play for a while!

It didn't feel quite as cold out early this morning when I walked the dog, but we are expecting snow tonight. Yesterday's little coating made our roads so slippery that it took me an HOUR to go 8 miles to US 30 in Lancaster. Craziness!

 Trish,

That sounds awful, I sure hope things get better for you soon.

Hang in there.

I am plowing along.  Had my first drinks over New Year's and didn't feel any side effects from them.  I was waiting to get plastered and nuttin...lol  Probably because I was sipping very very slowly and was so aware of the potential effects.  I was surprised considering it was about a year since I had any alcohol.  Not a big drinker here.

I bought myself a little xmas present, a new car and it is really nice.  An Acura TL.  I love the remote start I put in the car.  It is nice and toasty by the time I get outside.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday's and are keeping their resolutions.

Enjoy the day.

Congrats on the new car, I did that last year and two years before (lol), but not an Acura (lol), just a good ol' Toyota Corolla. . .  can get addicted to that new car smell. . .

Wishing you many happy miles!

Laureen

Good morning Trish and PA,

Trish -- Sorry you are feeling so poorly....hope you get relief soon.

Lisa -- Happy birthday to your mom.  Our moms are probably up in Heaven playing Bingo together.  ((((HUGS))))
Work is super busy, so I'm cutting this short.  After work, I'm walking on the treadmill, shower, practice my piano lesson, and then get the Christmas decorations down -- I'm late this year taking them down.

Have a great day everyone!
