Can I just say?
(sorry guys)
Water retention and PMS suck?
I'm tired, irritable, my clothes don't fit, and if I could just keep the salt shaker in my mouth at all times (which only adds to the water gain) I'd be happy. Oh - and for whatever reason this month I'm achey too.
4 pounds overnight - literally. I know, I know...it'll come off...and people who suffer from things like lymphedema can gain 15 pounds over night so my four little pounds is seemingly nothing.
Enough to make me feel like I'm 235 pounds again, though.
Ok, thanks!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Yea...Advil was my choice of drug not so much for PMS but for the actual time of friend visit. Taking Tylenol for that stuff, in my opinion, is like popping a tic tac and expecting to help the pain. I deal with it as I can...I'm not gonna say that on occassion I haven't taken advil because the pain is to bad - but I understand I'm not supposed to do that. I take it with Pepcid and take it sparingly (normally only when I have to go to work and be somewhat functional, LOL)

I am soooooo with you right now Pam. I gain at least 5 pounds during PMS... I know it will go away but I hate feeling bloated and tired and irritable. Mine isn't salt though - -> it's sugar. Hope it passes quickly for you!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

water retention does suck..
fortunately, I do not get too crampy during that TOM, but then I don't have an excuse for my *****iness during that time.
I do get the extra cravings for sweets (like I need more).
Feel better soon... oh and news flash.. you are NOWHERE NEAR 235 anymore.. just in case you forgot. YOU ARE TINY!!!!
Love you!
