Renewed dedication to......
There were a couple of days over the holidays where I definitely didn't get all my fluids in and I felt parched AND my skin started to feel dry and flaky.
Usually, I'm pretty good with the water. In the morning, i fill a blender bottle with ice and water and a slice of lemon, and refill it every time it gets "gone" until the ice is melted. Then refill it with ice and another slice of lemon and that gets me through till night time. I usually (at this time of year) have at least one big cup (2 cups) of decaf tea as well.
In the summertime, I found that making a bottle of water with some sliced cucumbers in it and letting that sit overnight in the fridge made for a WONDERFUL and refreshing treat.
You can do the same thing with sliced peaches, oranges, pineapple... whatever fruit you like that is "juicy" (berries usually don't work well)... usually no sweeteners are needed. They just give a nice refreshing overtone to the water.
