Well....it depends on the infection I would think.  Antibiotics would probably work in that time frame and NOT cause a delay in surgery.  However...if it's a bad infection (which as you know, has the potential to be only because you've had these issues before...) and your body needs a longer time to heal from this infection, it could potentially push your surgery back.

I know it's a blow if it does happen - my surgery was post poned by over a month because 2 weeks before hand they found out I had a thyroid problem and I needed to be on meds for a minimum of 3 weeks prior to retesting.  HOWEVER - understand that if your body is fighting an infection you cannot possibly heal from surgery the way you should.  It would also allow the infection the possibility of spreading or becoming worse, again, which would slow down healing.  Although this surgery if done laproscopically is considered "minimally invasive" it is still a major surgery and still requires a lot of rebound from your body.  You absolutely NEED it to be in the best shape it can be in to help you in the first coming weeks.

Let us know how the doctors goes - I'll be thinking of you!

I had to go to give blood tomorrow for my preggers test before surgery they require so i am going to stop in and see if they will see me then and if not ill scheld and come back and tell them how important it is I am hoping that its jsut a stone moving around.. they like to live in my body LOL. and if is it in infection I am feeling better soon and it goes away ..

Awww, thanks.  Back when I first joined this group, I learned soooooo much from the thoughtful replies and insight of those before me, I made a promise then that I would do the same as I learned.

Just beware - I can give kick in the asses and don't deal with BS very well, LOL
