Alright gang - I want to challenge you to get back to basics for 2010!

I'll add my disclaimer first since I haven't done it in a while. I am 20 weeks pregnant so my dietary needs are different. I need 1800-2000 calories, 100 grams carbs (at least) and 90 grams of protein.

So here it goes

B: oatmeal
S: cheddar cheese and a few pretzels
L: beef stew
S: protein bar
D: leftover chicken with cauliflower and broccoli
S: apple crisp

S:  two clementines
L:  (homemade)  buffalo chicken salad (a healthier version from salad works)
S: ?
D:  veggie soup because I am freezing and it is freezing!

Lots of water because I am back to teaching today and will be doing a lot of talking

Exercise:  elliptical for 30 and bike for 20

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

S - protein drink
L - Chili with shredded Mozz
S - Cashews
D - whatever Larry makes (I am sooo lucky)
S - not sure - I guess this is where I find myself in trouble!

I hope I did this right.  Next,  I have to find out how much protein is in this stuff so I can keep track.

Steffi...  try going to sparkpeople.com.  it's free and great - you can even put a recipe into it and it will calculate all of the nutrition for it.

you put in your own target goals for each of your elements (cals, carbs, fat, protein, etc.) and it will track against them for the day.  Also - it's great for tracking fitness, too.

Hope it helps!
