Monday Morning Roll Call!!

Good Morning all.. Its Monday morning about 145. Baby Marshall just got done feeding and Im about to head to bed.I needed a small snack so banana it was.

Im about to go back to bed. Get up at 630. Get kids ready to be picked up for school. I cannot drive for 2 weeks. then its hanging out at home with the new little guy. gonna nap when he does and relax. Im trying to get use to this whole being up at all hours of the night thing!!

Good morning Tanya and PA!

I'm headed out early this morning - my 6 month follow up with Dr. P. is scheduled for 8:30. Then I drive about 2 hours for a work appt. in Maryland. Then I drive about 2 hours home.

After all that driving, I'll check work e mail, clean up a thing or two, and head to the gym for a 6:30 class.

It's a busy week, so I have to gear up!

Doing what I can to clean today.  This shoulder may need more medical attention.  I am trying to get the insurance information from my stepdaughter so I can get what I need.  I am going to try for a massage first.

You may need to badger the docs to find out what's going on with your shoulder.  Paul, my beau, had a lot of pain in his shoulder following an accident.  Nothing showed up in an MRI and therapy didn't help.  They finally did an MRI with contrast, after about 5 months I think, and found that he had a SLAP lesion and his shoulder was 50% detached.  I hope you don't have to deal with anything like that but wanted to let you know that you may have to keep after the docs to find out if there is any damage they're not aware of.

I was in a car accident the day before Christmas.  Whiplash and some shoulder issues, no broken bones.  I need to get filing information from my stepdaughter so that any bills can be submitted directly before I go further. I don't have any health insurance at the moment so I need to get that info.

I am hoping for a soft tissue scan of some sort.  What was the treatment plan for him?

So glad I don't have to rush out the door on this bitter cold morning!!  Got lots to do today---pick up the mail (we've been away for 1.5 weeks, so there's bound to be a lot) and go to my brother's house to get my cats.  I'd like to stop by The Restaurant Store in Wilmington and also the Verizon store.

Back to work for me today.. didn't sleep much last night.  Siehara was having back to school jitters for some reason and couldn't sleep.

I am going to see if I can get in with my doctor today about this itch.  Oral benadryl helps a bit, but it is really not doing much and it seems that the itch is moving.  I am breaking through skin and it is really irritated.  It seems to be much more than just dry skin.

After work, I'll make dinner and then I will be going to the gym for 5K training and spin class.

Then, home for relaxing.. we both need sleep tonight

ahh late night feedings - I'm crazy, I can't wait! lol I think it's slightly better then those 2am kicks to the bladder! At least you get to snuggle :)

Today has me at wor****il 4 then I want to stop at Bed Bath & Beyond to pick out a new microwave - gotta love their 20% off coupons! After that home to make dinner and try out my new yoga DVD.

Good morning and Happy New Year everybody!! I have been MIA since being home over the NY holiday - I love my new iPhone but its hard to see the OH posts on it so I haven't been keeping up to speed with everything.

Congratulations on Baby Marshall arriving, Tanya!! I'm so happy for you - sounds like you're both doing well?? What a wonderful way to start the new year - hope the little guy made it in time for a 2009 tax deduction for you!

I am getting myself back together - last week was an emotional roller coaster in dealing with my mom getting sick after my niece fell off the wagon and went back on drugs - we have discovered that she hid it all from her husband for almost 3 months. My brother came up from Florida to help him try to straighten things out - and its amazing how devastating events can pull people together because my brother and his ex got together and worked together to help Eric and the boys get back on track.

My mom is feeling better but this has been a horrific blow to her - to all of us, but my mom takes it particularly hard because Leah has always been her 'golden child' grandchild, and to see her throw away everything she worked so hard for over the past 3 years is really taking a toll on my mother's health, which is compromised to begin with. I'm also not thrilled about how close my niece is to us in her rehab facility since I no longer trust her at all. I just pray she stays there and gets the help she needs.

So on to starting another 'new year' for us right now - my husband really took this hard as well but for different reasons - sadly addicts have no idea how much they affect so many people around them with situations like this.

Hopefully I'm back on the boards for a while...hope everyone is doing well and had a wonderful new year.
