Good Morning Trish & PA;

Today friends are coming over.  To visit and also for the guys to measure the house so phase one of our renovations can begin once the city approves the permit or whatever it is they need to do with the filed paperwork.

Last night I made a pot of CHICKEN CACCIATORE and Jewish Apple Cake for our dinner, I just have to make the rice for everyone else and the broccoli.  I'm planning to let the chicken warm up in a crock pot.

I should get my reading done for my class tomorrow night, I did complete all homework for my on-line class, this is tough I'm so ready for school to be over I'm having problems motivating myself to complete these last 4 classes.  I know what I need to do but I don't want to do it......

Tomorrow back to work  uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh, I want to retire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  But then I look at Gene and his retirement and say heck no, I don't want to be working harder than I did prior to retirement.  My cousin who also retired tells me the same thing....what are these guys doing wrong that they are working harder now   :-)

Hope everyone has a great day...stay warm....I wanted to go outside with the guys to take pictures while they measure but I'm not sure I want to go out when they do that....but I do want to document all the renovations from beginning to end - such a delima....

Have a great day.....

Brrr is right!  Went to Olean last night and while hubby worked, I took his car and did some errands.  I didn't realize how many muscles are used to shift.  since my accident, my right side is hurting alot.  And, of course, shifting uses the right side.

Today, I so want to go to church, but it is sooooooooo cold!  We shall see.  My puter says 9 degrees!

Today I will be burning CDs so we have books to listen to while in the car.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

good morning all -  too cold for me outside! I am in my fuzzy jammies and staying that way! My Dad is picking up and dropping off the crib and dresser for the baby's room today. I am 20 weeks now - where did the time go?! SO we're 1/2 way to May 21st!

Today will have me upstairs putting up a border in the baby's room and doing some painting of the critters on the wall.

Cornish hens and potato gratain (I think) for dinner. Oh and I want apple crisp and ice cream so that's on the agenda too.
Have a good day all and stay warm!

Good morning,

Still trying to get it all figured out Post-op. I got my pill divider out this morning and divided up my vitamins for the week. I feel like a junkie now. I have to do the same for my other prescription meds as some have changed from slow release and now I have to take more, more often  to get the same effect.  ( I am bi-polar). Other than that, it is life as usual minus going outside.  My wife felt my arm a minute ago and asked if I had been outside without a coat. I told her no, that is how cold it it down stairs on the first floor. I think I see the gas bill going up a little today....lol. Have a great day all.

Yaaaawwwn!

Good morning!  We had a full house yesterday - 30 ppl for our holiday party - and it was SUCH a great time!  Everyone had such a fabulous time.  Of course, hubby w/ his OCD insisted on having the whole house completely cleaned (including vaccuuming, wiping down counters, putting things back out we had put away to clean off counters and what not and gifts put away completely) so by the time that was all done - it was 10pm  I for some unknown reason was up by 5:30, uploaded photos to the computer/digital camera frame/FB  I'm still in my PJ's just lounging on the couch

We're up to our elbows in left overs even though I sent a LOT of food home with guests yesterday so I am packaging them up some for mom, and some into smaller containers for me to have during the week.

The rest of day - we are cleaning out under our bed, going through old linen etc etc etc.  Tonight we might go see Avatar

Not so warm in Florida today, or for the past few days for that matter.  I picked up a virus of some type before I came down here.  It bloomed Thursday, good side lost 5 pounds, bad side, peeing every 30 minutes.  No matter how cold it is here, it still beats the cold in Pennsy.   Having fun cooking for family.  They are enjoying the service.  LOL.  House hunting down here is strange.  Palm trees decorated with christmas lights.  Learning what to look for in housing as far as defects and pests is much different than Pennsy.  Its a very peaceful place with lots of sky.  Wish I could retire tomorrow.  I have a few appointments to look at houses today.  There is one in particular that really has my interest peaked.  Hope you all had a great New Years.  See you guys in Phoenixville when I get back.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

Hi everyone...I'm jumping in late. Don't have to tell you that it's still freezing and windy outside! Not too many southern PA days are quite this cold!

I was up early and went to church. Later on will call my daughter on her 28th birthday.

Have a lot of puttering to do. Tomorrow is my 6 month follow up with Dr. P., so I need to print out some Sparkpeople nutrition summaries for my meeting with the nutritionist. Hopefully my labs were processed on time with the holidays and all.

Dinner tonight is leftovers - I cooked the last 2 days, so we have southwest chicken stew (a sparkpeople recipe that is a real winner) and a little pork roast left over.

Keep warm!
