It seems like forever! Jan 23rd is our day... noon - ???.

When: Jan 23rd
Time: noon - ?? (usually around 4-5)
Where: My house
65 Raubsville Road
Easton PA 18042
Phone: 610-462-1204

I think that we'll do some winter comfort foods made healthy! Anyone have any suggestions or requests?

ALl are welcome regardless of type of surgery, stage in the journey or surgeon/hospital. Spouses / support people are also welcome (Chris is off this day so he'll be around too)

We do ask for a small donation to help offset costs (there is a jar, this is done totally anonymously)

Oh one more thing - I will continue to run cookikg class until definately March but April is my goal! We'll see if the wee one has a different plan or not! lol Then we'll take a break for the summer, resuming in the fall or whenever I am up to it!

Hope to see you there!

Oh no! I so wanted to come to your next cooking class but you have it on Ria's birthday. I have a princess tea party planned for her and she is so excited. All the little princesses and princes are going to get ROYAL treatment that day. LOL. Maybe the next one. I really need to make the trip up there and soon.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Can't wait!

How about:

a nice beef stroganoff (lots of mushrooms!)
and/or
Shepherd's pie  (i think i have a good recipe for this that's WLS-friendly if I can find it)

I haven't been to cooking class in way too many months, and I won't be able to make this one either.  :-(  I'm having surgery on my right foot on 1/20 and won't be able to drive yet.  I will make every effort to get there next time though!

Have fun, can't wait to see the recipes!

I'm headed out to Lancaster in the evening that day....but will probably swing by for some of it at the very least.  I have the night off before too, so I don't even have to worry about sleeping.  How bout them apples!  LOL

I think I can rework my wls friendly apple crisp into baked apples.  Good idea.  We can put me down for that one!
