Last Tues of 2009 Roll Call
I am heading to Root's with my mom and sister today. And we will probably get lunch. It will be nice. The 3 of us haven't done anything together for awhile.
Other than that, just home to do some random chores and hang with kiddos.

Hi everyone -
Today has me at work til 3:30 and the day can't end soon enough for me. It's going to be a rough one.
I'll work tonight at the Doc's. Tonight and tomorrow night are my final days working there. I'm looking forward to having my evenings and weekends free. Well, sort of free.....I've already marked my calendar with plenty to do. Support groups, book club, etc. I'm sure I'll end up finding myself with plenty to do.

Good Morning All - try not to blow away today!
I am at wor****il 4 then stopping at the bank, getting gas and an appt with the chiro. After that just headed home to relax. I definately found that I over did it over Christmas and my body is still recovering. I have to learn to slow down and rest!

Curves? Treadmill? What are these things of which you speak?? When I finally get back to Curves I'm probably going to have to introduce myself to the owner again - and there is about an inch of dust on my recumbant bike that'll have to come off before I can get on!! Yes its been that bad...but don't give up on me - I'll be back in the saddle soon.
I'm at work today but this is it for me this year - then 5 glorious (hopefully) days off and NO plans for any of them other than maybe going ot the movies with my hubby on NYE or sometime over the long weekend. He really wants to see Avatar - I'd like to see 'It's Complicated' - he'll probably win because Avatar is probably one of those that is better on the big screen.
I'll try checking in from home on my time off - might have better luck than last weekend when I was so busy!

I'm at work today but this is it for me this year - then 5 glorious (hopefully) days off and NO plans for any of them other than maybe going ot the movies with my hubby on NYE or sometime over the long weekend. He really wants to see Avatar - I'd like to see 'It's Complicated' - he'll probably win because Avatar is probably one of those that is better on the big screen.

We're back home after 5 days in Michigan. The drive home was a white knuckle trip through Michigan, Ohio, and western PA with a lot of snow and high winds...roads were glazed and we saw many cars off in the ditches, especially in Ohio.
I'm off work this week but we arrived home to no ho****er and a mess in the basement, so calling a plumber to get a new water heater is first on the agenda.
I'll go to the gym, unpack stuff, and would like to browse some of the clearances at the mall (depending on the plumber's schedule). Then I'll tackle this heap of paper (filing, receipts, etc) that has been driving me nuts for 6 months. I keep looking for the perfect way to organize and stay on top of it all...and I keep less and less each year...but still can't keep it all tidy they way I'd like to!
I'll also put together a "nicer" dinner for Mike tonight, since I have time to play in the kitchen.
And by the way, I survived the family dramas intact! We stayed an extra day so I could spend more time with the kids individually - without mom and sister's watchful eye during whole family events.

Good morning Ida and all of PA - Up early this morning - well early for me during vacation. Have I mentioned that I LOVE my job?!?! :)
So - this morning has me uploading pictures to be printed and sent to me - only just under 600 so it should only take 24 hours or so....OY! (I promised myself I would do that again, but, I just kep downloading the pictures onto my computer and forgetting to order the prints, so here we all, slow computer and internet all day) - Curse my scrapbooking habit! :)
Later this morning I am taking my little brother to the airport for his trip to isit with our parents who live in Florida - this is his LAST New Year as a college student...I sincerely hope he enjoys it! It was a great visit with its ups and downs, but I love that he wants to spend time with us during his breaks. I amhoping to see him again during his Spring Break - we shall see. He had to spend time with our sister yesterday and came home so aggravated that he couldn't stop talking about how crazy she is...(Which she is BTW - with her over the top Orthodoxy!) So it took a while for him to calm down and we are both still in shock that she came from the same dad as we did! :)
After that I want to get my nails done and then we need to pack again. Headed to Boston to visit some old college friends of Larry's who we used to visit seeral times a year, and then we each had three kids and life just got in the way. The last time I saw them, with the exception of a weekend for my son's Bar Mitzvah two years agao, was in 2001. We are SOOOO looking forward to celebrating New Years with them!
