2 week appointmet
Two weeks today I was getting my RNY. They moved me onto pureed/soft my DR does them together. I don't have to go back for a month. I have lost 25 pounds since the 15th. I am pretty excited except for the 4 day stall I seem to have hit. Overall I think it is going well all the steri strips are off and some of the incisions you can't really even see. I thought I would be down more but I know it is going to take some time to come off.
Selena,
Congrats on your progress and the good report from your doc! And really - when's the last time you lost 25 pounds in 2 weeks??? Set good and reasonable expectations for yourself and you'll be pleased in the months to come - for some folks, the first couple of weeks are much slower than yours as they get rid of the water weight they gain during surgery. Just keep walking, sipping, and moving/stretching and focus on sticking to your plan. You're doing great!

you are doing great!
BUT get into good habits now - PUT THE SCALE AWAY - get on it once a week, same day every week and no more. It will become an un healthy addiction down the road. Also take your measurements (neck, chest, waist, hips, arms, legs wrists etc.) These will be your saving grace during future stalls because you will be loosing inches not always pounds.
Keep up the great work!
