Malitol
splenda/equal is fine in teas and things like that.
They just don't bake well without some serious changing around of recipies, adding liquids/applesauces etc...and that can change the texture. The malitol is definately better for baking. Normally a 1 to 1 substitution with very good results

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
