Horseback Riding in The Snow

The one thing I am really sad about today is that on a day like today the child in me and adverturess in me comes out.  I would be going into Heather's room and say to her come on get up and get dressed we are going riding and she would moan and grown and yell Mom you're nuts and I would say to her Nuts my ass we're taking the horses out.  Ugh now to the sad part if I didn't have my shoulder operated on this past wednesday I would be dragging daughter out of bed and two horses would be running through the snow.  So for that I am kind of sad.  However I am glad I got this shoulder situation addressed as its the third time in one year its been worked on and hopefully the last time and Godwilling I will have a good recovery and not miss anymore riding.  On the positive note I am grateful for all that I do have that is good.

I used to take lessons all year around.  In fact, the first time I fell off a horse was into a snow drift!  The sad part is getting your foot stepped on when it's cold!  There two horses I just loved to ride.  Blaze was a Morgan and King was a Palomino Saddlebred!  He was awesome to ride!  Sometimes I still wish I rode but... oh well.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

thas funny my Tiki is a morgan mare and a sweet hag at times where I have to yell Tiki and get her attention and my palomino his name is Cassidy.  I can remember being bucked off as Tiki turned a sharpe corner into the snow and yelling what the heck and being glad there was snow cushioning my fall. I miss those days. Try having your foot stepped on at the corner of your little pinkie toe.  Now that thar are stars!
