Well... I suppose today is the day everyone has to deal with that pile of white crap outside - please be careful and take your time!

As for me - NO shoveling! lol Chris can snowblow the drive way and shovel the steps for me. I will be doing some cooking and baking in prep for Christmas Eve, finishing up laundry and relaxing! It is going to be a crazy week for sure, short but crazy!

PLEASE be careful out there!!

I willbe the first NOTpregnant lady on the roll call this morning!  Hi ladies - Hope you are enjoying this forced togetherness!  Liz - enjoy your day.  Tanya - not sure about the itchy thing - but it could be the skin stretching along with the cold dry air in the house.  I really have no idea.

So - I am sitting in my house dreading having to call everyone and cancellingmyHanukkah party - I am VERY sad about it!  I love doing it and next weekend might not work out!  UGH!  Oh well -

So today looks like a day of playing at home with the kids - organizing some things - getting the bills done and PRAYING that there is NO way for the schools to be open tomorrow.....One can hope right?!?!  My little, much taller, brother is in - If Ihaven't mentioned - he is 21 nd finishing up college next semester in Boston, my dad and step-mom live in Florida - so he is with us until New Years Eve.  Always good to have another adult in the house.

I hope you all have anice and warm day!  Happy Winter! :)

Hi Steff,

Why don't you have your Hanukkah party on New Year's day?  We are having ours this coming Sunday, Dec. 27th.  I actually wanted it on New Year's day, but my Maryland daughter and son-in-law (and kids) couldn't make it then.  It is such a good day for a party because there is absolutely nothing to do.

Anyhow, Happy Hanukkah and New Year!

Thanks for the thought Linda - We are actually going to have to split it up as some people can come this Sunday - some will be away - No worries though - As long as we get to see everyone!  Another excuse to get together in the throws of Winter when everyone usually hibernates!  Have a great time this Sunday!  And, Happy Hanukkah! :)

You're right, Steffi.  It's nice to be able to see everyone and enjoy their company.  It may be cold outside, but the warmth inside is what matters most.  Have a great time at your Hanukkah get-togethers.  I'll see you next year!   :-)

Good morning all!

I think we have about a foot of snow here.  We need to go get the snow blower out and start digging our way out, but I'm not looking forward to it.  But the good thing is my old ski pants fit now, so at least I'll be warm (well, maybe) and dry.  It's windy, so snow blowing and shoveling will be a challenge!

I think I'll do some baking today.  I want to make the chewy molasses cookies from the bariatric eating website.

Have a great day, everyone!  Be safe!
