Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning PA,

I was here earlier and saw no one posted roll call, but I'm back and it's still not here, so I guess I'll jump in . . .

I'm kind of behind on what's been going on the last couple of days, as I was under the weather, but my PCP said based on his exam that the heating was the cause of it, so he made a couple of suggestions, that in the past I always did, but since WLS and being so cold I stopped doing, mainly to turn the thermostat down to 60 at night, or crack a window open an inch or two.  I did the latter, as I don't want to freeze out my roommate and I woke up feeling better this morning!  Oh and a funny thing, I have not been to my PCP since 2007 just before my surgery, well he was like, which one of us do you see regularly and I said, well doctor Mike, I guess my surgery did wonders, because you and doctor Kevin were my guys, he looked at my chart and said, oh my, you are literally half the person you were and I did not recognize you.  Good for you, you've done a marvelous job!  Talk about a feel good moment. . .

Anyway, I am going to work today and that about sums up my day.  Hope you all have a good day.  Wishing you all peace and strength to get through the challenges and situations that life deals you today!

Glad youa re feeling better and it was something simple!

Today is an exciting day for me! Wor****il 2 then off for an ultrasound!! I'll post the pics when I get home. After that I need to stop at the bank and K-mart for a few things.

Good Luck at the ultrasound. It is soooo awesome to see the little bean moving. Sometimes they will have hiccups, or be sucking thier thumb, and you can actually see it. I hope the baby cooperates and gives good measurements!

Thanks Jo! I can't wait! Last time I was at the OB she said I have a squirmer on my hands so it will be fun to see today. I'm 17w4d so hoping that everything goes well and baby stays still long enough to be measured! My Mom is going with me because CHris has to cover for someone at work at that time.

Enjoy your ultrasound. I still remember my last one with my youngest. They told me I was having a boy, well I told them I was having a girl, guess who was right That was 29 years ago so ultra sounds have come a long way since then

Wow, Good Morning Ladies and PA,  I haven't been to roll call in forever.   Was checking my emails from work and wandered over; just sent hubby off for his day an hour ago.  Took me 20 minutes to make the lunch that usually takes 5; couldn't find the lettuce, where's the mayo...oops, no fruit today...sorry!??   For gosh sakes, it's not rocket science!  What brain fog I have...almost qualifies as cement after 3 days of this.   I then sent in my sick note to the office...no work for me today.   Maybe I'll get up later and write Christmas cards or decorate or something lite but I've thrown in the white flag of surrender to this dang cold!   It needs sleep so that's what it's getting!   It's take care of me time. Hope everyone else has a better day; I'm going back to bed to snuggle with my kitties.  Hugs and Kisses ya'll....J.
