Today finds me heading back up to Pa from my daughters in MD, for a special Christmas event at my church. Will be taking my oldest granddaughter, Chloe with me, and will stop and see my
DH, then heading back to Md, so Chloe can go to school tomorrow. This is my day. Have a safe and Warm day everyone.

I don't have anything planned for today. I may do some laundry. I went through a storage tote last night and found some clothes I forgot I had, and they fit just fine now. Well, a few things are a too big---but that's perfectly fine! lol I need a few things from the grocery store, too.
Feeling a little strange today. This week will be my last at work. I was hired for a project, and it ends on Friday. I've been there for 1.5 years, working with the same people that whole time, so it will be odd not to see them every day. But I'll be honest---I'm glad to be getting a break! I've really liked this job, but it's been stressful.

Well, I was GOING to start out by saying Happy Birthday - but when I see what your response brought from those that are NOT Eagles fans....well... :)
HAHA! Hope your birthday is terrific - minus of course when the Eagles win tonight, and have fun at the game - although, again, as The Giants are going down, it might put a slight damper on your festivities! :)
Anyway - I have been out of touch for a few days - I am in DC with the tenth graders from my synagogue and have been working with them on their seminars and this is the first chance I had to get on here!
I will be here until tomorrow afternoon, we are headed to Capitol Hill to talk with staff from our senators offices on issues important to our students. Should be an interesting day, one that I have never been part of.....Went to the Holocause Museum yesterday - haven't been there since I was 16, WOW...it still gets me.....I did A LOT of head shaking - but no tears!
I don't know how the weather is in Philly, but it is a rainy day here in DC. Hope you all have a nice Sunday!

I am so happy to know each one of you. Karen I wore my heart necklace last night to see Mickey Dolenz, it looked good on me.
Today I am laying low, laundry, cleaning and making SF peanut butter balls. Keeping some and sending some to a friend back in NC Who has diabetes.
Not much else going on today, this week is gonna be insane so I need the down time. to rest and finally recover from this virus. I think we are in the home stretch

Today, I've been lounging around storing up my energy. This afternoon I am going to babysit Daniel and Ethan, ages 6 and 2 1/2.. We are going to a bowling Hanukkah party that one of the synagogues is throwing. Then, we will go back to their house to light candles and give them their Hanukkah presents for the night. I will bring Siehara's with and our menorah so we can light them too. I will be reprieved around 8:30-9:00 by the boys' grandmother when she brings the baby home to put her to bed. Then, she will just stick around until Sarah and David get back from the wedding they are going to.
That's my plan for today. I hope it has gotten warmer out. I hate driving in winter mess.

Home after a Christmas party this afternoon at the local VFW. Now I must buckle down and study for my finals.
