***Super Sunday Roll Call***
Well now....such a banner weekend here in the ED. I'm a lucky girl tonight!
On the way home need to stop and pick up some cough medicine for hubby. Poor baby! I wasn't supposed to go home at all this am, but left my boots there and need them, so I need to make the stop anyway.
Then headed to joisey where I will spend the day sleeping and then get up and celebrate my bday with my family before celebrating dad's belated bday and early christmas present by spending the evening in the meadowlands watching the giants/eagles game. Sorry guys - you know I'm a good sport - but the Giants are my team and with being there and all....can't say I want the eagles to win in the least. But regardless of the outcome, it should be a GREAT GREAT night with some great people!
It's I believe an 8pm kick off time, so I'm sure I'll be rolling through my door in the wee hours of the morning.
The only down side of today is that I won't get to see hubby on my bday. All the more reason for him to make it special for me another day (will somebody please facebook that message to him so he figures that part out, LOL)

I am up early again for a change. Seem to be getting up between 4:30 and 5 these days. Oh how I wonder what it would be like to sleep in til Noon....lol
Things are going well, I was very excited to see that I had dropped 3 pounds since yesterday. I was getting a tad frustrated (for a change) that my weight loss really seemed to slow down over the past 10 days. I feel like I am back on track.
I decided I should switch it up yesterday and concentated on egg beaters, chicken, fish and green beans. It seems to have worked. :-)
I found a great product on netrition.com, Josephs' Middle East Pita makes a 60 calorie pita bread (6g Protein), and I bake the pita bread a little, then put on some tomatoe sauce, low fat mozzeralla cheese, oregano, garlic, salt, onion, and turkey pepporoni and bake it again. It is a pretty good personal sized pizza and I end up with about 23g protein for a little over 200 caloires. Not bad. I know the rule of thumb is 1g of protein for everey 10 calories, so this is pretty good.
Another good product is Better Balance Pretzels jalepeno honey mustard. 120 calories and 10g protein from the same site.
Today has me putting away laundry. I love when the laundramat washes and folds. It's only a buck a pound. (must be a guy thing).
I bought myself a XMAS present yesterday, a blue ray DVD player and wireless router. I am going to hook them up today. I can than join Netflix and stream movies to my TV. The basic plan is like 8 or 9 bucks a month. Not too shabby for access to over 17k movies you can stream.

Today has us both up early - why on a Sunday???? Gene is exercising to his favorite VCR tape, I'm up here working on some homework.
Will be heading out to church about 10:15 or so. Found out there is a new Pastor at our church (Gene and this pastor went to seminary together) so it's time to go back, hopefully things will be back to normal there since the last Pastor left. I'm looking forward to seeing my church family today.
After church a stop at the grocery store, then home to walk on my treadmill, do some more homework, cook dinner and hopefully relax somewhere in there before going to work tomorrow.
Was talking to my oldest daughter yesterday, she asked me to bake a Jewish Apple Cake for Christmas day. So I will be baking a Lemon Merangue Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Jewish Apple Cake, and a baked ham to take to my youngest daughters for our family celebration
I saw my PCP on Thursday. I DO NOT HAVE VERTIGO!!!!! He is not sure what happened, but told me to be sure to drink plenty of water (I do at least 80 oz a day most days are 120 oz) and if it happens again document everything and call him. I am so glad that I told Gene not to fill that perscription they gave me in the ER

Happy Birthday Girlfriend. Today is a busy day for me. I am baking some cookies for a memorial service tonight. Then, I have church and I teach Sunday School. Then, I am helping to set up for the memorial service, and heading home to pack and clean. After that, I am heading back to church to pay my respects. The woman who died was my mentor at church for years. She helped me through my divorce.

I don't usually post on the weekends, but I'm up and surfing that net, so I thought that I would stop by.
I'm still working on cleaning out my apartment. Spent most of the day there yesterday. Really hard work. My shoulders and back were killing me. I'm hoping to be done completely by next weekend and then do my walk thru with the complex manager next Monday.
Today I'll go back to the apartment for more cleaning....yippee !

I've been busy the last few days - pre-admin testing Friday then went grocery shopping, a couple of other stops. then Friday night took my nephew out shopping for an outfit for a holiday party. Saturday I finally got my nasty hair colored and cut - unfortunately the girl who was supposed to do it was in a car accident on the way to work (she's okay) so another girl took me and did just fine. Then I went shopping again and am 99% done - trying to finish everything up since I don't know how I'll be feeling after my procedure Tuesday.
Today finds me wrapping, wrapping, wrapping...once I get started I'll be at it for hours. Finally got my cards done last night so I can get them off tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great day - be careful out there. I was out earlier and it was a tad icy at spots'
