***Still Freezing Saturday Roll Call***
It's currently 24 degrees out. Whew! It's chilly chilly chilly to say the least!
I got out at 1:15 this morning :) Yay yay yay! On the way home I stopped and did shopping. Walmart was VERY busy oddly enough at 2am. I got most of my shopping done in about 40 mins...but stood online for about an additional 30mins + Fairly aggravating, actually.
Came home...put away the food and made a large deep dish lasagna for hubby to have with friends today.
Wrapped Christmas presents (and bday presents for my mom who is a New Years baby) and finished writing out my Christmas cards, only to find I need more stamps.
Made some "Christmas Gift Certificates" to wrap up for a few intangible gifts this year. Also did some recipie searching for a few things for the big holiday party we are having at our house.
Also packed a bag for jersey. This time it is not for work! As soon as I get out of work Sunday morning, I am going to my parents house. I am sleeping there, then getting up and celebrating my bday with them with dinner. Then most of us are headed to the Giants/Eagles game @ Giants stadium. The tickets were a gift to my father a combo bday/Christmas gift. It'll be me, dad, mom, one brother, and his girlfriend. The only question is - will I be able to stay warm at a night game with possible rain when it is 24 degrees?
The only thing left for today....shower....bed.

My nephew and I finished our Christmas shopping yesterday. I am going to be cleaning, packing going to an appointment, making finger sandwiches and cookies for a funeral tomorrow, and sometime in there, getting my sorry butt to an AA meeting. I am such a slacker this week.
I am so scattered mentally this morning, I need to make a list and prioritize things before I do another thing.

Good morning, all!
Pam---Happy birthday!!! I know it's early, but celebrate it for as many days as you can! Sunday sounds like fun, although I wouldn't want to be sitting outside in this cold weather for any reason!!
I didn't get up as early as I usually do today. Probably because I stayed up later. And for once I wasn't the first one up. My 15 year old step-son was up first! He used to get up pretty early when he was little, but I thought as a teenager I'd never see him before 10am. And he finished his homework as soon as he got up this morning too! I'm not sure I know this kid!!! lol He's becoming quite an impressive young man. He's a sweet kid, and I'm blessed that we are close.
We have nothing planned for today, other than going to the Firebird Festival tonight. We'll probably just walk to it since it's only about a mile, and parking will be next to impossible.
I keep thinking I should start some baking for the holidays. Not sure what I want to make, so maybe I'll go through some recipes and make some decisions today.
This upcoming week is my last one at my job. I'll miss the income, but it will be nice to hibernate on these cold mornings! On to the next adventure!

Today I have an appointment at 9, then I am going to get a mani/pedi and then hit the grocery store for some stuff I need for tonight. I may hit BJs and Fashion Bug too just to look. Not so sure BJs on a Saturday is a smart idea.
I bought one of those arm bands they wear on Biggest Loser. I am excited abou****ching how many calories I am burning, especially with things like Karate. Treadmill (or the replacement of the first one I bought) is coming on Monday night. Looking forward to getting my butt back to running.

Morning all it's freezing out thier! had breakfast bowl of kashie ceral mmmm it was so good too. getting ready to head to hometown to super walmart I have to have follow up exam with the eye doctor and order glasses and contacts. ummmm after that IDK what I'm doing I would like for nana and I to go to christmas city the christkringal mart. we will see. Other then that I'm not doing much of nothing today. Oh about walmary they have all these check out lanes but when you are there they hardly have half of them open only few are open what's up with that? LOL hope this finds everyone well this am
