Toasty Thrusday Roll Call!
Good Morning Tanya, PA!
I'm sitting here in my bathrobe wishing I did not have to get dressed and out the door. . . I would like nothing better than to not have to go to work today. . . tonight is our Christmas party and I don't think I will be going, not in a festive mood right now, but who knows perhaps that will change as the day progresses. . . our office is a satellite office in Wilmington and the party is up in north New Jersey, so it's at least a 2-1/2 hour drive there and then 1-1/2 home, and then there is the fact that I have a 45 minute drive to work. . . for a food fest and socializing with people I really don't care for. . . then there is the fact that I dropped my phone last night in the toilet, don't ask. . . lol. . . so now I need to get to Best Buy and get me a new phone.
For those who are not on Facebook and have not read about it, the dog I am considering adopting passed the kids test and so I am going to meet him on Saturday, which will be hard as I know I will want to bring him home, but because I am going to Florida for my youngest daughter's nursing school graduation/pinning ceremony next week, I don't want to bring him home and then leave him for 4 days right off the bat. . . anyway, I am looking forward to getting to know Sirius and having a new furfaced son!

Good morning, all!
I'm at work till 3:30 today, then will try to get home. I had car trouble on the way here this morning---the car was bucking and losing a lot of the power, then the bucking would stop and it would drive better, but still with limited power. The dealer can't give us a loaner car till Tuesday, and Paul has to pick his son up from school in DE this afternoon. I'm going to call a friend to see if she can pick me up if the car is undriveable. And I think I'll check the bus schedule for tomorrow and Monday rather than go through this mess again. I'm already drained and the day has barely started!

Jammies?? How come everybody else gets to sit around in the jammies and I don't?? Even on my days off I have to get up and dressed because I have an adorable little furball staring at me with his little legs crossed!! But its our weekend routine now - get up, dress, walk, then jump in the car and head for Micky D's for my coffee and burrito. I will say I am looking forward to two upcoming 2 day work weeks - Christmas week and the week after - feels like I haven't been off in ages.
I'm at work today - saw the doctor about the infection on my left breast - she gave me antiobiotics and told me warm compresses - she mentioned giving me a script for an antibiotic cream but I ended up with 2 bottles of pills, so I have to call them today to see who screwed up - the doctor or the pharmacy.
Haven't been doing much at night this week - not feeling bad but butt is dragging by the end of the day - these infections just drain you.
Not much else on my agenda - just envying all you jammie girls out there!!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call! I bet that is nice - all you have to do is pick the color you want to wear each day? I, on the other hand, am losing my sense of color - have on black slacks, black shoes, and navy blue opaque knee hi's! Just noticed it when I was talking to my boss - duh. Definitely need better light in the bedroom - LOL!!

Good Morning All,
My daughter is going to take me to the hospital where she works, to get me an H1N1 shot. As a reward for that we will be going shopping at the Ocean City Outlet Mall. Then home to more sewing of the Christmas blankets for the kids, and PJ's for my grandson. For those of you in the Leigh Valley area, I don't miss having to get up and go out in the cold. I took early retirement in June, and don't miss the stress of having to clean the car, and then going to work and having to clean the company truck to go out on the road in bad weather. Those of you who are not feeling well, hope you feel better soon. Have a good warm, safe day.

I could have EASILY slept another 3 hours this morning. Bed was so toasty, kitties snuggled in, sigh. But I got my butt out to the gym anyway. Now I feel energized and am glad I did, but this was one tough morning.
Normal boring work stuff today, then heading for a MUCH-needed haircut after work. I swear it's growing faster than ever now! I'm going to have to schedule cuts 4 weeks apart instead of 5 or 6.
If I can schedule it, i MAY get a pedicure while i'm there to treat myself. For my birthday Sunday I'm wearing a really cute pair of open-toed dressy sandals, so would love to have "nice toes" peeping out. If I don't do it tonight, I'll try to get it done maybe Sunday morning. Will have to see.
Bought our tree on Sunday. It's still sitting in our back porch, no closer to being put up. I asked hubby and daughter last night when they were planning to do it. (they're home a LOT more than I am) and the answer was ... uh... soon. Hopefully that will be BEFORE xmas. Sigh.
Ah well. Really can't complain, all things considered.

Got up late today, didn't hear the alarm clock go off. Got to work by 8:10am will work till 4pm.
After work, stop at curves, then I have a PCP appt. at 7pm to figure out what this dizzy stuff has been lately. Have not gotten dizzy since last Thursday so we'll see what he says.
