I am currently on my second month of my 3 month supervised diet plan, and have yet to lose a single pound. I don't know if its because I over indulged during Thanksgiving or what. I have been eating very healthy since then, but the scale just doesn't seem to budge. My activity level has been where it has been for the past few months, which hasn't been a whole lot due to the flare up of and old back injury (bulging disks). I have been doing some strength training and some chair exercises. Walking any distance is very painful. I  just hope that the zero weight loss doesnt effect my approval with my insurance. This whole being stuck thing has been my problem for years now. I don't gain weight, which is good, but I can't seem to lose it either. With winter upon us, I know that there is the possibilty that I may gain weight, simply because I am less active in the winter. I have invested in a DVD called Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie Sansone. Its an indoor walking video. Wow! I just totally went off topic there..must be the cold air has gone to my head (its a balmy 14 degrees here at 7:15 p.m)
I have written down the suggested questions so that I can take them with me when I see the surgeon on Monday. I do have one other question. What can I expect on this first visit? I never even thought to ask about that before now...Thanks A bunch!!

I will be honest I started and ended six month educational program with all intentions of lap band. After I saw the surgeoun I changed to RYN.I am so afraid of failing with lap band, I eat now when I am full, what if that doesnt stop me.He explained without being partial to either surgeries, that the Ryn will be an automatic slap if I misbehave and cheat, making me never want to do that again.I believe I need that. He also said I have up until the day of surgery to change my mind, he wouldnt decide for me either way.I can't gain this weight again!!! I am determined to change my bad eating habits for life.  Good luck with your decision, the people on this forum are SO helpful and kind>                  -Lynn
