I have a doctor Christopher Dodson new guy and was told he's really good.  Seems like a really nice guy.  Am going in this coming up wednesday for shoulder surgery at Jefferson should be interesting.

You`ll do fine. I recently had one shoulder done. They repaired some tears but the subscapula(sp) tendon was completely ripped from the head of the humerus and retracted and couldn`t be reattached. Gotta love rugby. Mine was done at OAA.
You`ll sleep in a recliner for a couple days and vicodin and oxy will be your best friend.  Good luck.

My guess is there is even more going on then cushioning. How you walk, angle of the leg coming from the hip all play a role in how the knee tracks and that stuff has changed on you. After your repair and rehab get to a good running store where they can look at the angles and your feet and can set you up with appropriate shoes and maybe orthotics.
