Goodwill Stores-need an opinion
I am thinking about heading up to Lancaster, PA and see that there are 2 Goodwill Stores up there and needed to know which store was the better on to shop at. The address I have is 121 Rohrerstown Rd in Lancaster PA 17603 or the 2353 Lincoln Hwy E in Lancaster, PA 17602? Has anyone been there and if so what do you think? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
I'm not familiar with either of those stores, but the Second Avenue store in Montgomeryville has a great selection of clothes. Not sure where you live, but if you are anywhere near there it is worth a look. It is on Rt. 63 just west of Rt. 202. It's in a large shopping center whi*****ludes the Star Diner.
The one on Lincoln Highway is much larger and a much bigger selection. It's right near the target - traffic can be crazy because the outlet malls are close, but if I were going to pick - I'd def. go to the one on Lincoln Highway. There is also one in the Willow Street, PA area - just south of Lancaster. That would be my second choice. The one on Rohrerstown is a distant 3rd to the first 2.
Hope this helps - happy shopping!

I have also been to the Lincoln Highway store - yes, it's in a busy area, but there is a light at Witmer Rd., just beetween Target and the Goodwill/Dollar Tree/Wendy's parking lot. Turn there, and you can get into Goodwill easily from the side parking lot entrance.
Honestly? When I go to Goodwill, I turn into a "brand snob." But at that store I have found Jones NY, Eileen Fisher, Lands End, LL Bean, and other good quality items.
Never been to the Rohrerstown Rd. store, but traffic down that way is always a zoo and I generally avoid it.

I have found Liz Clairborne and Ralph Lauren and Lands End and LL Bean and Express and I am trying to locate a LL Bean barn jacket. I used to have one size 2x and am looking for one in either M or L I hate the thought of buying another barn jacket at LL Bean for almost $80.00. I have found two of them at two goodwill stores one in warminster and one in bensalem but they were too big. You never know what can be found at those thrift stores it my newest addiction. Thanks again everyone.
