I love ice crem/ frozen yogurt but several month ago I dumped on NSA ice cream so I will never touch it again . I have been craving ice cream so I bought this yesterday all you do is freeze the base in the freezer I dumped in 2 Chobani 0% plain yogurrts a a can of peaches   1/3 cup splenda let churn for 25 minutes and you have frozen yogurt. it is so good and creamy tomorrow I am making the chocolate fudge recipe

yes i did I liked that too. I mixed the banana with some SF frozen cherries and 1/2 cup chobani yogurt and walnuts and WOW, thats what gave me the idea to go get the ice cream maker. I also mixed can of mixed fruit and chobani.

1 small 4 oz mixed fruit  lite drain & freeze then put in food processo with 1/2 chobani yogurt and blend very creamy

With the Cuisinart, do you still have to pac**** and salt around it before churning?  I have an ice cream maker with a huge tub, if you know what I mean, and you have to make a lot of ice cream.  Was wondering how the Cuisinart was compared to this?  It seems like you can make a small amount.  YUM.

No, you don't pac**** and salt around the tub of the Cuisinart.  You do need to freeze the bowl for about 12 hours before making ice cream though.  I just keep mine in the freezer.  It does make a small amount, but I'm not sure how much.

it makes enough to fill a cool whip container if you use the recipes for 1.5 qt

Thanks for answering, Julia.  Sounds like a nice little machine.  I'll have to look into one...maybe something to ask Santa for - LOL
