Well  I asked this ? on the pregnancy bored but im not sure what type of response i will get there. LOL

Anyway.. I got a hair up my butt today. lol cleaned and cooked.. lots of it ...

Then I packed all the needed bags for me, baby and my older two( they will be staying with Nana and pop pop when I go in the hospital) Im all ready to go.. I felt like it had to be done today.. I feel VERY odd and weird.. I have been relaxing but feel like something is going on inside.

Is this normal did anyone ever experience anything like this? Did you go into labor, your water break.. I dont remember with the other two having this overwhelming feeling going on.

ahhh help!!

I got that way. I don't know if it's the "nesting" thing. Or if it's just knowing you have other kids that have to be prepared also. With Jantzen, I was incredibly nervous about making sure all my ducks were in a row for McCoy, Sawyer & Riley. I made my older boys pack overnight bags and I constantly checked them to make sure thier jammies and things were still there. I checked Riley's bag a thousand times worried about making sure all things she would need were in there.

In fact, I think I stressed more about thier bags than Jantzen & I's. I guess cause I knew Johnny could grab whatever we needed at home to bring to me. Where, with the other kids, It would be harder to get what I forgot to my mom's once I was in the hospital.

I have never had my water break. It's always been broke for me. I was 9 cm dialated with Riley till I got to the hospital, and my water still hadn't broke on it's own.

But I definately always felt odd or wierd a day or two before delivery. I knew in my head it would be soon, even if I didn't have the labor signs yet.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Not a mommy....but have heard of this before.  I think you have been nesting.  A girlfriend at work, for example, vaccuumed her baby's nursery three times one day, and on that same unbelievably hot August night made a full roast chicken dinner in an apartment without air conditioning.  She went into labor that night.

There's some real truth behind the nesting.

Hang in there :)  With your early contractions and what not....none of this suprises me to much!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I had everything done and ready about a week before my little one was born.  His 'due' date was 7/10 and I just knew he was going to be close to that mark.  Found out 3 days before he was born that they were not going to let me go past my due date anyway.  Midnight 7/10 went into labor... by 5pm that day  7/10 he was born.  .

Sounds like "nesting" to me. Maybe your little man is going to make his appearance sooner rather than later. I was three weeks late with both of my guys, and had to have C-sections. Hope everything continues to go well for you.
