Saturday Roll Call

Since I'm up and getting ready for my day thought I'd start the thread.

Today is gong to be a challenge.  Most if not all of you don't know that I do medieval reenactment.  I've been to several events since surgery but this is the first one I'm going to that I'm staying for feast.

Let me explain feast... its a dinner with like 3 dinners in one.  (called removes).  The cook for this particular feast is luckily a WLS patient as well.  However,  the key is going to be to not eat everything that comes out!!!  Universe needs to help me today to be diligent and only eat my 1/2 cup.

Hi all,

Today is full if I take advantage of everything.  The usual of wash, recycle, store, pay bills.  There is also a Christmas Ladies Tea this morning and knitting club in the afternoon. 

I started a hat for a friend but Ii think I will need to start all over.  It's really big.  I have to realize different gages of yarn really makes a difference.

I am up and trying to get started. I'm still trying to shake off the effects of whatever that medication was they gave me in the ER Friday night.

So far our only plans are the Barix meeting this afternoon.

I hear it might snow today, if so I hope it is gone by Monday morning rush hour drive

Happy Saturday!  I am heading out shortly to run errands and to finally return that treadmill I bought on Thanksgiving.  They are going to take more off the price for the hassle (although I already got it at a rediculously low price :) so I may see if I can get them to deliver and set up the new one for free instead.  I'd like to know the new one actually works this time.  It never fails, I always get the fluke in the bunch.

Tonight I am headed to Lancaster for my first xmas party of the season :)  I am also hoping to see some snow fall so I can try out my new tires.

Morning all.. Sandra, you'll be great!! Just remember to not get overwhelmed by all the choices and only take what really looks appealing.  (I'm great at giving advice, just need to take my own)

HEATHER... You really need to stop wishing for snow.  I have a piece of crap car with iffy tires and I really don't want it to snow on a day when I have to drive.  Keep it to yourself. LOL!!!

Today has me going to Barix!! I can't wait to see everyone and get the kick in the ass that I need.   Siehara spent the night with my Friday night friends because she didn't want to come with me.  I tried to entice her with Jordan, but that wasn't flying.  SO, I got to spend last night in a peaceful house and today with a bunch of adults!!!!  

I have no plans for this evening other than remembering that I have to pick her up from their house.  I'm sure she is going to want to do something, but I'm sure that I'm going to want to sit back and relax.  So, we'll see who wins.  LOL!

AS for me I've already been to feed a friend's kitties, shop @ super walmart, exchange something at K-mart (yes - FINALLY made it there! lol) then a quick stop for gas and I'm home. Battling a headache - yucky! Now I am home working on chores waiting for the snow... I am hoping that they were WRONG and all the snow goes to HG's house and not mine :) She can have my share!

Sandra, you will do great.  I am off to run some errands, trying to locate some ticket for  The Nutcracker for tomorrow, for my daughter and granddaughter.  Fast trip to Walmart, then back to the house to help entertain the three grandchildren.  Maybe Daddy will take the bigger two out somewhere to run around indoors to burn off some steam.  That's my boring day.

Good morning, PA Friends!!!

I'm sitting here at Cornerstone Fitness in Doylestown with my trunk show until probably about 4:30 today (feel free to stop on by!).  

Got up early to get the car packed and everything set up by 8.  Didn't work out (other than schlepping boxes and tables) today and likely won't be this evening. 

I'm wishing I were able to go to the Barix meeting today - will REALLY miss you guys!  But I'll see you on third Wed and will also be there for second tuesday (accompanying a friend who is investigating WLS options).  

Saw a WONDERFUL concert last night (www.cantusnovus.org) - a cappella choral music for the season.  TRULY amazing.  They perform tonight in Newtown again - if you can get there, go.  It's a wonderful concert.

Good morning everyone! 

This morning has had me up about 3 times by 8am... Puppy last night just wasn't sleeping well.  At least each time that I took him out, he went - so I felt good about the fact that he's letting us know.  We've had him sleeping with us since Thanksgiving and it's going well, but at the same time, it does affect my sleep some nights.  A nap might be in order for later today!

Ryan and I are off to search for a recliner.  I think I want a chair and a half, rocker/recliner.  I kind of sprung it on him casually last night, but this morning I'm itching to go.  I think I'd like the recliner to sleep in after surgery and I'd like to buy a nice one that is kid friendly for when we have those kids we're dreaming of.  Just think, a toddler on one side of me, baby in my lap and reading to both of them... oh dreams!

We're working out this afternoon and I'm going to attempt to make my first ever pot roast.  No idea what I'm doing, but from everything I've read - it's very hard to screw up.  Rented some movies for tonight with the snow coming.  We love how everyone dreads the snow out here, kind of makes us appreciate even more that we no longer live in a place that gets 12-15 inches on a regular basis.
