Morning everyone!

Heather - I was so glad to read your post.  My husband rented 2 movies last night and let me pick.  I picked UP thinking you can't go wrong with a light hearted disney/pixar movie.... boy was I wrong!  I love the movie, but my face and eyes are still swollen this morning from all the crying that I did during the movie.  I think of the 96 minutes, I cried 90 of them!  For those that haven't seen it - don't let me discourage you, it is a great movie - but have the tissues ready =)

We never made it to look for the chair and a half recliner yesterday - so we'll be out and about doing that today.  Headed to the grocery store and doing laundry too.  Usually during the weekends we're lucky enough to have one bum around day and one tasky day.  The snow decided for us that Sunday would be our tasky day.

Made my first pot roast ever last night and I can't believe how easy it actually was.  Tonight I'm going to try making asian pork loin using the same method.  We'll see how it goes!

Can't believe it's already Dec. 6th... I have a feeling this month is going to fly.  Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon everyone and PA- this morning had us driving to BlueBell to pick Merlin up my 17 1/2 yr old himalyan cat he is so special to us and he was diagnosed with lung tumors and no options but I am going to keep him as comfortable as possible and take advatage of what time we have left with him.  He's my Mer-Ball been thru alot with us and he like Cassidy has a hugh chunk of my heart.  Then its doing laundry, vacuming, dusting and all of that great stuff I would rather be out shopping instead but figured the traffic would be horrendous so I will wait til tomorrow during the day.  I was one of the lucky ones getting home from the meeting yesterday I did not fool around when it came to driving in the messy weather I was home within a half hour and in my pjs for the nite.  Geoff you can bring your presents to me if you need them wrapped I am good and patient at that.  That goes for all of you.  Going into Abington hospital tuesday am to have the cardiac catheder done and hopefully everything checks out ok and then be able to schedule shoulder surgery.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Afternoon Geoff and PA;

Woke up with a ton of energy but it went away in less than an hour. Been laying on the couch watching Christmas shows in between napping with our kitty.

On the way home from Barix stopped to do the grocery shopping. It was nice, the stores were pretty empty.

Still have to catch up on homework that I have not finished because of my trip to the hospital and the meds they gave me. Hopefully I'll be able to get everything done by tomorrow night for class sometime today or tomorrow during my lunch break.

Hope everyone has a great day....

Ida

We are up late, cleaning up after having people over. I hate icy roads and so we have been laying low.  gonna hang out in the house today. I hope you all stay safe. Hang in there.

I hit the Philadelphia Premium Outlet Mall in Limerick today.  Had to replace my suitcase that was damaged on my last trip. Picked up a cute pair of Dr. Scholl Platform Crocks at the Brown Shoe Closet.  After that I hit Marshalls in Royersford, and cleaned up on $5 blouses.  Then I realized my mistake in buying my suitcases in Limerick, Marshalls was a much better price. Completely forgot they carry suitcases. Hopefully the expensive set I bought will last me a lifetime?  Stopped at the Limerick Diner for dinner.  They always have excellent food.

Came home and did a fashion show for myself and just can't believe it every time I look in the mirror, its' really me?  In three months, after my physical therapy is done, I will be scheduled for massive skin removal from my legs.  This is supposed to keep the lymphedema under control.  Honestly, I'm not looking forward to the giant owwie, although it should make a huge difference in my appearance and the way my slacks hang.  We shall see.

Booked my flight to Florida for X-Mas vacation.  Good prices out of Atlantic City Airport.  Less than half price compared to Philadelphia and better yet, they are direct flights going and coming back.

In closing, always remember, "Successing can't be spelled without u", U are part of a magnificent Journey that needs to be nourished and cherished.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.
