Sunday Morning Rollcall

Good morning everyone,

It has been a while since I have posted.  Keep busy at work....lol

Everything has been good, weight continues to drop.  I have been very involved in support groups in the North Jersey area, making a lot of great friends.

Today has me reading through an updated apartment lease and wrapping XMAS gifts.  I am really bad at wrapping.  I can't imagine how I ever survived a seasonal job in the past in the gift wrapping department at Wanamaker's.  I guess that is why they are out of business....lol

We got a little snow up here yesterday, less than an inch, but the roads seem to be a bit icy.

Have a great Sunday all.

Good Morning Geoff, PA!

Support groups are one of the gifts we get as a result of chosing this lifestyle, the many people I have met and begun to call friends is amazing, people I never would have met had I not gone this route.

Xmas wrapping, I laughed at the thought of you wrapping presents, I used to love to do that, now I look for gift bags, because I feel totally the opposite way, just no fun wrapping presents.  I also did gift wrapping for what was then Gertz, which later became Sterns and now is gone, gone, gone . . .

Today will find me cleaning and decorating for the holidays, oh and laundry and cooking for the work week. . .

Hope everyone has a safe and happy day!

Laureen

Good Morning.

Geoff - wrapping presents isn't my specialty either... but I abide by my Grandmother's rule "Done is better then perfect" somehow I don't think the kids are going to analyze my wrapping skills, they are more concerned with the contents! lol

As for me today I am waiting for Chris to get up then I am sending him out to get a Christmas tree. So we'll spend the day decorating the tree and the house, another of my not-so-favorite Christmas tasks - not sure why but I don't really enjoy putting the ornaments on the tree, I usually do the lights and let Chris to do the ornaments. I also have some laundry to do and some cleaning.

HAve a good day all and be careful if you are headed out on the early side - roads here look a bit icy!

Good Morning.

I am tired and not motivated. Today will be just laundry, wrapping a few gifts, watching football and hopefully going through a few boxes in the garage.

Have a great day.........

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Good morning all!

I think it will be a quiet day here.  I'll probably do some laundry, and I want to get ready for the work week as far as clothes and food.  (I have another sleep study tomorrow---hoping to get rid of the hated cpap---so I want to prepare for Tuesday so I don't have to scramble tomorrow before going for the study.  Wish me luck---I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck using that machine forever, and I don't sleep well with it.)

Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning everyone.  Today is slotted for the grocery store, picking up a prescription at the pharmacy, laundry and cleaning the house, not to mention football.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Pa, and Geoff,
Just going to veg out this am.  Latter this afternoon, my daughter and granddaughter and I are going to see the Nutcracker, we hope to make it a tradition.  Possibly make some chili which I can put in my bullet and see how my pouch takes to it.  Then this evening we will more than likely watch a Christmas special with the kids, or break out one of the Christmas videos we bought.
Wrapping the Christmas presents was a job I always did for my Mom when I was younger, and let me tell you there were a lot as there were six children with spouses, grandchildren, and a gift for everyone she worked with, and each had to be decorated fancy.  I kind of miss those days, but life does move on.  Have a good day everyone.

Happy Sunday all!!

Today I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on my agenda!!!  WOOO HOOO!!

I was going to go to the drug store to fill Siehara's prescriptions, but the ONLY place in town that seems to carry her one med is not open on Sundays.

She is not going to be happy that I don't want to do anything.  Maybe one of her friends will be able to do something and I can just take her to them or they can come here.  I would really like to just do nothing today.  I need it!

Hope everyone has a great day.

I have two words for xmas wrapping....GIFT BAGS!  They save my butt every year :)  I don't know what I would do without them.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend and enjoying the SNOW!!!!  Oh boy oh boy oh boy SNOOOOWWW...I love it!!  :)  And the dogs especially love it!

Heading out with our friend Geri to see Precious this afternoon...i hear its a tear jerker.  Not sure I can handle that after seeing UP yesterday...cried straight through it....cried cause it was sad...then i cried cause it was happy and then cried cause it was sad again...geeze!

After that, I need to get some stuff done around the house...i swear the dogs had a huge keg party and trashed the joint while I was out this weekend....damn dogs! :)

The new treadmill is coming this week.  Sports Authority offered to deduct money off what I originally paid because of the hassle, so I got them to deduct the price of delivery and set up off the cost of the treadmill ....they told me the entire line was recalled, so I guess it wasnt just the one I bought.  I moved and set up, took back apart and returned  the first one...this time I want THEM to deliver it and set it up and make sure it actually works before they walk out the door.  Once i am up and "running"  i will start training for a 5k in the spring.

Ok...have a great day everyone!
