Saturday at Barix

I hope everyone made it home safely in the snow! My drive to Lancaster was about double the normal time - 3 accidents on the Turnpike en route, and traffic was moving about 40 mph most of the way.

Thanks again to the facilitators - for the gift that you give to all of us!

     My ride back to northwest Philly also took a little longer.  By the time I made it home the snow had really slowed down.  So glad to see everyone today at the support group.  I especially enjoy the small group at the beginning.  You 4-6 monthers rock!!!  I will miss seeing everyone on January.  Hope that the holidays are good for all of you.  Looking forward to the first Saturday in February.

Glad you both made it home okay.  It took me about 2 1/4 hours to get home.  I got off the turnpike in Lansdale to stop at Wawa and get coffee and just take a break.  It was hard on the eyes and nerves driving in the snow.  Then,  when I got back on, I ended up behind a truck.  I was afraid to pass him because he kept going over the line so I just kept my distance behind him and dealt with it.  I listened to the audio version of Twilight so that helped me to get through it.

So nice to meet you both, as well as everyone else in person!!! 

I'm so glad I went today.  It was much needed and helped!

I was behind that same truck for about 20 minutes and then decided to pass him.  Here's hoping to have some nicer days again.  You look great, the scale will move again and you won't feel so frustrated.

I agree - the day was worth the drive.

So glad Everyone could make it on a day that turned out messy at the end.
We'll miss you all in January but look forward to our next 1st Saturday on February 6th, 2010.
