Checking In

Thank you Jo. Yup got lots of rest yesterday and could stay in bed today but won't. I hate loosing days, especially to a medication that knocks me out. I hate those types of medications.

Glad to hear you are home. Sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the diagnosis. Take care of yourself, and if you are not feeling better keep bugging them. (((hugs)))

Thank you. I'm never satisfied with diagnosis that do not come from my regular doctors. The doc in the ER was really nice and all but he does not know me like my PCP, so I have my appointment to see my PCP on Thursday to go over all this to see what he thinks it might be. And if he is in agreement with the Virtego diagnosis then ok, but he'll have to come up with medication that does not knock me out

Glad to hear that you're home and resting.  If you are not in agreement with the diagnosis, listen to your heart and pursue it until you are comfortable with the answers.  Sometimes "our" instincts are telling us things that doctors can't see, especially in a brief visit to an ER.

Karen, thank you. You are absolutely correct, if I had not followed my instincts over a year ago, I'd have never had my gastric bypass surgery. So I will be seeing my PCP this coming Thursday because he knows me.
