Absolutely agree with everyone else. Good luck on the job hunt. It is illeagal. They have to pay you for work done. Call Labor Relations. Hang in there, hope things get better.

Well that is BS. The entire office staff should just stop working until the checks arrive and are cashed (they could bounce)
That being said is there a contract, employee handbook or even a notice posted that states difinitively what day pay day is?

ok here is my update I just called the supervisor or Labor and Industry.  They said that I could not file a claim because it would be resolved by the time they got to working the claim.  But they could call the employer and advise that they have had several complaints about pay not coming in on time, and give a stiff warning.  Hope this goes somewhere!!

Good for you for making a call. Maybe threats will put them in line!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

You know that whole statement of 'you should plan accordingly' really burns my butt!! Maybe THEY should plan accordingly knowing they have a payroll to meet every week or whatever their schedule is!!! That is just one of the most ignorant statements I have ever heard!! And hell, let's face it - if we didn't need the paycheck we wouldn't be working!

I also would notify the Labor board, and start discretely looking for a new job.
