This is my kind of recipe!!  A coworker told me about it.

Freeze fresh, ripe bananas
once frozen, peel and throw in the blender until creamy....comes out the same consistency of ice cream and is very yummy.  Probably would be good with a bit of sf chocolate syrup!  I am guessing protein powder could also be blended in to it, but not sure if you would have to mix it with a bit of milk first or if it could be put in dry.

I saw you talking about this on FB...interesting!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I like peanut butter on bananas.  I wonder how a scoop or two of PB2 would taste??  I may have to try this over the weekend.

Thanks !

I threw my bananas in the freezer last night after reading this.  Don't like to eat them unless the peel is still a little green, so these should be perfect for this recipe, nice and sweet.

I'm a long time banana freezer (I use them with milk to make a "milkshake" out of a protein shake) I recommend peeling them before freezing. But whatever works for you!

I am probably gonna get "smacked" for this one but I used whey protein one scoop and 1 c of 1% milk and 8 ice cubes and 2 tbsp of sf jello pudding banana flavored and it was awesome! Opinion please.
