***Winter Wednesday Roll call***
Good morning Pam and all of PA!
It was one of those mornings - I accidently turned off the alarm when it went off at 6 and rolled over at 6:25 - and then decided - I just don't feel like getting out of bed - Had NOTHING to do with the cold outside - it is just that I didn't sleep well, We just bought a new humidifier and I thought it was going to help - but I still wake up often dry - I didn't have this problem at all with the CPAP - and I REALLY do not want to go back to it - I have to make an appointment for a sleep study, but according to my husband I don't snore anymore and have been sleeping relatively peacefully - or at the least - not waking him up with my noises. He is a light sleeper - of course - with his schedule - he is not often sleeping when I am sleeping! :( So then I finally did get out of bed - jumped in the shower, got ready and what do you think I did?!?! YUP - got on Facebook and played a little backgammon! OY - I just LOVE having an addictive personality! :)
So - today is wor****il 3:15, head home for a few hours and then head back out to a professional development with the people I traveled to Israel with. I just need a small break where I can sit at home and hang with my children. Or at least be in the same place as them while they are awake! UGH!
Well, I hope you all stay warm and cozy today! Have a nice Wednesday.

Pam,
I used to "molt" (yeh - gross) twice a year at the change of seasons between summer and winter skin - couldn't keep the face moisturized enough and exfoliated enough. Was horrible. Found that Clinique's "Moisture Surge" works beeeeutifully to fix the problem. You use it in addition to your regular moisturizer and it's very light but moist - not at all greasy and i've never had a breakout from it. Might want to see if they have a sample you can try. I use it most all of the time these days.
I got to the gym this morning for a so-so workout - my body just wasn't "in it" this morning, but I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and another 10 on the arm bike, then stretching and pushups.
Now I'm at wor****il 4:30ish, then home to grab dinner and then a board meeting tonight at 7.
Some good news - I won a Special Recognition Award at work for administrative employees. It will be presented next week at the President's Luncheon and comes with a $1000 stipend. That will certainly come in handy at this time of year, with Eddie still out of work. Felt good to be recognized for going "above and beyond."
Have a great day, folks!

Good morning!
It was freezing here in Jersey too -- I did NOT want to get out from under my two down comforters this morning! I like to keep the house cool and then put on extra blankets, but with how cold I've been so far this year, I may need to re-think that plan! I was so cold that I hopped back into bed after my shower and got dressed under the covers. I haven't done that trick since I was in high school, crazy girl that I am.
Yesterday I went to see Dr. Pupkova for my one year visit. My visit with her was EXCELLENT -- she wrote a letter in support of my panniculectomy (I am currently working on insurance approval to get it done now) and just was so supportive and encouraging. I was more than a little underwhelmed by the NUT that I saw, but I won't comment too much on that here... They also took my "after photo" so that I can go into the patient photo book in the lobby. I was leafing through that book while I was waiting for my letter and was glad to see so many of my peeps in there!
Today I'm at work (exciting, I know) and after work I need to get to the gym, then home to watch Biggest Loser, since I didn't get to see it last night.
Have a great day, everyone!
