Who's moving on this hump day?!?!?!

I just got back from going outside.. I did week 4 day 2!!  That's 16 minutes of jogging and 16 mins of walking.  WHAT?!?! I jogged for 16 minutes? 3 mins and 5 mins at a time!!!!

I am going to go to the gym after work and do some strength training, too!!

Who else is moving today?

This will be a non-exercise day for me.  I have an appt with my primary doc right after work (will take about 45 minutes or so to get there), then I'm hoping to get to the support meeting in Phoenixville this evening.  I plan to get my butt on the treadmill after work tomorrow.

Hey - Great job with the C25K!  You rock!  Did you chose a race to sign up for?

I am not doing anything this week.  Giving my body a full weeks recover before I start running again on Saturday.

Thanks Beth.... right now my goal is to run the Girls on the Run race with my daughter.  That will be at the end of May or beginning of June.  The actual date has not been posted as they have not begun spring training yet.  But, this will be my daughter's 4th time in it and she has already told me that she wants to run more of it this year than she has in the past.  Her best time in the 3 races was something like 51 minutes.  Most of it was walked.  I am proud of her for finishing it each time no matter how tired she was!!!  This year, I think she is motivated to add running because she is seeing what I am doing (and I think she wants to show me up!!)  That's ok!! I would love for her to show me up!!   I don't think I will be HER running buddy, because I don't think it will help either of us, but I do want to run the race.

I was also thinking about looking online for other local races that can be MINE to run.  Haven't gotten around to that yet. But, I will!

That would be awesome Beth!! I'll let you know when that race is and what other one(s) I decide to do!!   I'm going to start looking online to see what is out there.  If you do a 5K that will occur after Feb or so..let me know.  I should be ready by then!

There aren't many January or February races around here.  I am doing a 5K on New Years Day and another one the following Saturday something about the Super Bowl (?)  I just know there is free beer afterwards... LOL!  I haven't found anything in February.  But in March things start to pick up!

Hey Lisa - If the dates work, I'll come run with you too!

Today was a low-energy day in the ole body.  However, I still managed to do 30 mins on the treadmill at a decent pace and incline, and about 7 minutes on the arm bike.  Then stretching and pushups.
