my cholesterol levels

Just posted a blog, but wanted to share with those closest to me!!!


I got the results of my follow up cholesterol screening and things are looking good!!

The numbers were not "that bad" before, but bad enough for the doc to put me on Simvastatin to try to get the numbers lower.  It worked, but from what I see on webMD, they are not all "Optimal" numbers.

I have a follow up appt on Friday with the doc to see what, if anything, we are going to do.  I would assume that she will just keep me on the meds.  It's a low dose.  But, I am HAPPY to see the numbers and will be even happier to see her on Friday because she has not seen me since I was only a few months post op! 

Hey Lisa!  You should be doing your happy dance!!!       Numbers are looking good!!!   Keep up the good work!!!

Lisa, congratulations! Your numbers look great!

At my dr. appt. just before Thanksgiving, he told me there was no need to return to my blood pressure medication. Just the opposite - he said "We may have to supplement with some salty foods"!

Those numbers look great!  Congrats!       (I'd be shocked if she left you on statins with those numbers, actually...)
