It's Tuesday! And here's Roll Call.......

Good Morning all!

I am still beat! I feel like a truck hit me. But, life goes on, and so must I. So I will be working until 3:30, rushing home to make grilled cheese and soup, and then leaving for class by 5. I hate tuesdays! It's always so rushed but only a few weeks of it left.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and gets in the holiday spirit. It's December!

Good Morning All

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR freezing cold!! I am at wor****il 4, then I have to run off to the bank, grocery store. It's pay day thank god! I am tapped out...

It's going to be a busy day in the office. I am bailing out a co-worker who screwed up a major job. We are re-doing 38 bank branches and he has 8 done in 3 weeks! I expect to have at least 3 done today and the rest of my 12 by friday.

Jo - have you had your labs checked lately?

Actually Liz, I did. I get monthly CBC's and Iron studies done. I went from a ferritin of 20 in October, to a Ferritin of 9 in November. So I guarantee by my next lab result, I will need Iron infusions again. I can tell when it's close to the time for them again.

I figured you did :) I know when my B12 gets low too I have ZERO energy. I am going to have the OB run labs when I go there next wednesday too.

I've got inventory today.  I can't help but reflect upon my weekend in Florida and I gotta say, I think I'm ready for retirement.  What a peaceful and serene place to be.  I know the job market down there is really tough but the surroundings really make up for it.  I think I'm going to start sending out some resumes down there and see what kind of response I get.  Beautiful homes and really low prices although the real estate taxes are super high, its still very inviting. 

A bad day in Florida still beats a beautiful day up here.  I'm also going to look into the support group system down there.

Sounds lovely! As much as I appreciate my area and the ability to get to Philly, Baltimore, DC and other cool places in a short drive, I am definately ready to move to another area! I have a few years to wait before I can, but still look and "pretend" plan! LOL

Cape Coral

My brother, sister and brother-in-law moved to Florida about 3 years ago and have not regretted it one day. They all retired early due to different cir****tances and love it down there. My sister mentioned something to friends of ours over the weekend that once you're 'homesteaded' in Florida your taxes go down significantly - now I don't know if that's just the county they live in (I believe its Volusia County) or for the state but its definitely worth looking in to. Just found out another good friend sold her house up here and bought in a golf community down there - she's keeping her summer condo in Cape May and will winter in FLA.

Maybe some day I'll join my siblings, but for now I'm just a working girl and have to stay in the cold northeast!!
