Good morning PA and everyone-hmmm when you have dogs they are as bad as children when it comes to sleeping in.  My springer spaniel Elton has this bark which is turned into a high pitched whine and pierces your poor eardrums!  OMG and then the golden retreiver Jasper joins in by barking at Elton to shut up!  And then they get into it the barking and the whining and my sweet little chow chow Princess just sits there with her tail wagging and lets the two boys have at it!  Ugh never a dull moment and then hubby elbows me and reminds me that I wanted all three of those dogs and to get up.  After all I am the one who brought them home.  Oy vey! Its cold out there I am sleeping til summer!  We are off to lancaster today and its so cold and windy I am wearing my fur coat today and going to shop my butt off!  Then having lunch at Shady Maple which is kinda dumb as I so do not eat very much not that I am complaining believe me.  It will all be small, small portions.  I have to go to the saddle shop and pick up some odds and ends.  It never ends between the dogs, cats, birds and horses you are always buying supplies and food.  High maintnence but I wouldn't change it for the world.  They're my sanity and I may even buy Linda something.  Everybody have a great day and stay warm.

I don't think you're being sensitive I think its a new way of being kind and rewarding yourself for all your good work.  You can shop anywhere you desire. Be kind to yourself.

Trish, I already had 2 sets --- one from my first marriage - Revere Ware, and one from my Husband's first marraige - TFAL, when I hit my 30 service anniversary from Verizon, I got to pick a gift --- guess what I chose --- Pots and Pans, Calphonan (sp) . . .   so yes, everyone deserves a full set of pots and pans, or 3!!!

Like many of you I am decorating.  Today was supposed to be outside but its too darn windy and cold.  So I think we'll do inside today and outside tomorrow.

Hubby is also going to the movies with his daughter -- she's mild autistic and visits every other weekend from Allentown.  She loves movies.  They are going to see Alien 51 (or something like that).  While they are there I may venture to Penneys and also going to get my nails done.

Tonight, we'll have a night in front of the tube watching the Flyers game.

Have a good day.

Good Morning.

Big boys and nephew are building a "fort" outside, Jantzen is playing with toys, Riley is wandering around aimlessly, Johnny is taking scrap metal to the junkyard.

So I am taking a quick break, then going to unload dishwasher, do various chores and make sure we have everything ready and packed for tailgating in Philly tomorrow. We are headed to the game and I am so excited. It's probably my favorite thing Johnny and I do. It's a nice day together to hang, watch out favorite team and have a great time.

Hope everyone enjoys thier day.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Morning, all...

I'm still not feeling all that great - I'm now thinking it's a reaction to something specific I ate rather than the portions (although the portions didn't help), so am taking it VERY easy today on food... SIgh.

Working on making watches today, going shoe shopping for Katie and maybe hitting a thrift store, then not much else.  I'm tired.  Really want to take it a little easy today.

TRISH - You're an adult... seems to me that it's up to you how you spend your money.  And if having a complete and matching set of quality pots and pans is something that reinforces how precious you are (and were, even before surgery!), then go for it.  If your mom is anything like mine, she's a Depression baby, and that influences so much of how she views spending and hoarding... but that doesn't have to shape your life, too.  IMHO.

Hugs, folks...
