Happy thanksgiving to all my PA Peeps!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day! I am thankful for Johnny who is incredibly supportive of me, my kids who make me laugh and smile everyday, my family who loves and accepts me through everything, and also thankful for the PA OH forum who is a cyber family I could not make it without!

Bless everyone this day and enjoy time with family and friends, regardless of how crazy and nuts they are!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Hi all, I am up way earlier than i Had intended. My flu has now turned into a head cold so I cannot breathe. Throat is still sore but still feeling alot better. I am sure it is heading south to the lungs, because  I almost always get bronchitis, so  have a zpak armed and ready. It is 3:36 am and i did not have to be up until 4;30. Sipping dandelion root tea.

I hope you all have a great, and safe thanksgiving. Remember be true to the pouch and get your support in place, I got mine HOLLA BETH M.

That's what happened to me when I got sick a few weeks ago, Nic.  You can try taking mucinex to help thin out the secretions, and the more fluid the better also to help thin it out.

Feel better!

Happy Thanksgiving PA!

I am up (barely) and dressed for my 10K in Wilmington this morning.  I am nervous and I can't figure out why.  I have been running this distance (and further) and we drove the course yesterday.  Go figure.

Anyway, I am thankful for many things as many of you are, but one thing I am especially thankful for is this PA board and the people on it.  One of my students made me a card that said, "I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and a good 5 days off but don't forget Thanksgiving is about the people you love."  Pretty good insight for an 8 year old.  So, enjoy the company you keep today, have a plan and stick to it, and keep a support person on speed dial if you need too!  I have mine ~ Thanks Nicole!!

After the race I will be heading over to NJ to spend the day with my family.

Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving Jo & PA;

Today we will be eating at a resturant for the first time. All the cooks are in school for the holiday this year so my SIL and I talked about it and decided to try something new. Spending the day with lots of family. This will be the first time in 9 years that I will have one of my daughters at Thanksgiving dinner. They have always spent Thanksgiving with their dad. I am so blessed this Thanksgiving

A blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving to all....

My mom has to work today so Turkey dinner will truely not be till later today.  Which THANKFULLY means no snacking all day.  WOOT.

Today will be filled with my husband, son, and my mom (small group up here).  We will watch the parade, watch football (go Dallas), and cook and have a nice time.

Love and blessings to everyone here.  This truely is a remarkable place.

Nice post Jo!

Happy Thanksgiving all.  Like so many here, I am thankful for my family and friends and of course Barix and OH.  My new lease in life is just amazing, and it's something I'm thankful for each and every day, but try to make it a special thought on days like today!

Had a nice evening with the in laws yesterday and then came to my parents house.  I did not sleep well at all here this time, which is unusual for me.  I was still up around 2am and was out of bed by 5:30 or something like that.

The festivities don't start till around noon at my grandmothers house (about 15 mins away from here) so I very well may lay down and try to sleep a little more.

Then it's to Nan's house to socialize with family - some of which I haven't seen in quite some time.

Coming back to pa sometime tonight, just don't know when.

Enjoy the family and friends today!

Happy turkey day everyone!  We have been invited to some friend's house.  I thought we would have to stay home, long story.  Anyway, I wanted to wish you all a glorious day and don't stress alot about the food.  This time of year comes once a year.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
