Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning PA and everyone.  Today has me up early thinking about a friend's funeral today I have to go to and my mind is racing.  My heart is heavy.  A former friend of mine's dad passed away this sunday he was 89 years young.  I kind of had to smile because he lived a good life. Life is so short but in his case it wasn't.  Its with a smile that I can say he had a good life and I will miss him so.  Hopefully the weather won't be yucky but no matter it has to be done.  Then a few quick errands of course Walmart is on the list and physical theraphy.  I have to straighten out a couple of "heart" issues to get clearance for my shoulder surgery.  And tomorrow is thanksgiving and I have so much to be grateful for.  One of the most important things is all of you to me.  I don't know what I would have done without all of you and your wonderful support and for that I am thankful for.  We have a new addition to out family this year the friend who I keep our horses with gave me one of her kittens and she is a pretty girl she is white with one gold eye and one blue eye with grey streaks between her ears and Heather swears that the are horns that weren't fully developed and I named her Phoenix which is a bird that rises above the ashes which is what I feel all of us did into new beginings.  I'd forgotten how mischeives kittens can be but she is funny.  New beginnings.  We all need them.  Everybody have a great day.

Looks like we have two roll calls going lol.  Today is another volunteer day at the hospital.   Anyway, supposed to snow this weekend!  Yikes!  Winter is here!

I think I am going to decorate during the snow.  Seems fitting.

Hi, I thought i would type in orange to celebrate Thanksgiving.  Saw my surgeon last week, all labs were essentially normal,and he anticipates that I will continue to loose wt.   It really has slowed this week have been fluctuating around 199 mark,  frustrating.  I went running 3 times last week, and now my rt knee is so sore I had to call off all running.  Cast is still on my arm until Dec. 16th.  This is my 1st holiday since surgery and I have been cooking all week.  It is great to not feel the old guilt at knowing you were going to cheat on the holiday.  I am actually looking forward to the meal, and the family. 
Kiss your barn buddy for me and give him a carrot or treat for Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!  Mine will get some special treats for sure!   LOL  
HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING, and dont forget what it is all about.  I am sooooo thankful for my new lifstyle and all the blessngs that go along with it. 
Oh yea I have named my pouch Elvira, sinced it is like having my own little temperamental person insde me!   sooo thankful for Elvira!
