Kitties need a home.

A friend of a friend is helping her  aunt find homes for her kitties, as the aunt has become too ill to care for them.  If you have any interest in giving a loving home to a kitty, please contact Geni McCann at [email protected].  Here's a note from her about the story:

Hey everyone! I am trying to help out a friend of mine whose aunt recently became very ill and is no longer able to stay in her home and care for her cats.  There were 13 cats originally and 4 have already gotten a new home.  There are still 9 remaining. The cats are free and need homes ASAP.  If the cats don't find good homes, then they will unfortunately have to be taken to a shelter- and if you know anything about me, you know that I hate the SPCA (who will undoubtedly euthanize animal(s) if they are not adopted within a certain timeframe). Please read the following and let me know if you, or anyone you know, is interested. Thanks!

Anyone have a friend or co-worker willing to take on a furry friend soon? We are in dire need of a loving home for the following 9 cats and kittens:

Two 8-week old kittens, both boys, both tan/black tabbies, really adorable with big green eyes.

Three 6-month old kitties, all with beautiful green eyes. One black female with a little white spot on her throat. One striped brown and black tabby boy who is sort of a scaredy cat. One dark gray boy with white patches on his throat and belly and one very cute white finger.

4 adults. One 2-year old Gray Male who is "big and beautiful" at about 10 lbs and one big Tabby Male named Copperfield who is striped, 2 years old, and also about 10 lbs. Then there is one Female black cat who is a year and a half old, with green eyes and white on her throat. And finally, one female Tabby named Dickens who is very affectionate and the mother of the kitties.

ohhhhh...tugging on my heart strings.  Goodness gracious I looooove kitties.  I don't think my hubby will say yes, but I will broach it to him (perhaps when he is still half asleep?LOL)

I love them, too!

Thanks for considering it, Pam.   You're in the right geographic area, so if hubby doesn't mind, they'll be close by. :)

I've been thinking about getting a kitty for my daughter and I.

Where are the kitties and are there pics?

Hi Lisa!  This is actually a friend of a friend, and I don't know her.  But email Geni McCann at [email protected], and I'm sure they'll be THRILLED to give you all the info you need.

My friend Cathy Whitmore is in South Jersey and I'm in the Philadelphia area, so I'm sure they're close by.  If you're in/near Whitehall, you shouldn't be too far from the kitties. :)

Thanks for taking the time to read this post, and I hope you find a new fuzzy little love for your daughter.

Amy

I have 5 of those little buggers and 3 dogs and 3 birds and 2 horses and if I come home with one more animal well you get it I will be walking/driving down Eagle Rd homelss but I will ask around for you. We just got Phoenix this summer and boy was George not happy with Linda but he accepted her and warned me firmly no more!  She looked at him with those innocent eyes and said meow and she was in .  I will ask around.
