***Thanksgiving EVE rollcall***
Been a busy bee today. Left early this morning for the produce market and to regular market to pick up a few things. Also stopped at Walmart and managed to get the last 2 Christmas gifts for the twin granddaughters -- a specific pet shop thingy and a Barbie I can teacher set . . .
Got home and started cooking. We are a traditional german family so dinner is served on the table at 1:00. I am cooking 2 20lb turkeys for the 25 people I'm having. Originally was having 32 but my daughter mananged to get off Friday and so they decided at the last minute to pack up and head to Ohio to see her husband's mom --- so that makes it 6 less. I've prepared the stuffing, made a SF pumpkin pie (sister responsible for the rest of the desserts), made german braised red cabbage, and set one table. Waiting for Joe to come home from work to help me get the other table up. Right now enjoying a cup of tea.
This evening plan to relax with hubby and watch the Flyers game --- we're big hockey fans. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get a foot massage during the game :-)
