Hey everyone!

Long time no post.

Can someone share with me the name of the PS up in the Poconos that did some of your tummy tucks? Also, what were the costs and are you happy with the outcome?

I would LOVE to go back to Dr. Marchant for my tummy but I just cannt afford it. ($7000)

Thanks!

Hi Melanie,

I believe the doctor that some have used in that area is a Doctor Herman, sure they will come on and answer you shortly. . .I know everyone has been pleased with him.  Good luck, I hope to be able to afford plastics in the future. . .

Take care, Laureen

Thanks Lauren!

I had my boobs done in June and it was the BEST thing I ever did for myself (well besides RNY). I've been holding steady for 6 months (stopped losing weight at 10 months out) and am 11 lbs from goal.

Best of luck to you too. I really wish ALL WLS patients could get plastics as part of the whole procedure. makes a world of diference.

Hey Mel,
Here's some info on Dr Charles Herman. As mentioned he works in the Poconos, East Stroudsburg's Pocono Medical Center as well as a NYC location. Cheryl Schulman found him and used him and our other friends Shauna Dhoble, Nicole Lewis, Heather Graham and Kim Zaffino have all used him for various plastics procedures. I believe they all like him and his Pocono office staff. The Pocono Medical Center after surgery staff is not viewed as favorably.
Good Luck,

Dennis

I used him for my arms and my boobs.  The scars on my boobs are almost invisible and continue to fade. My arms are getting there.   He does great work and isn't chop happy.,,.I found him to be a happy medium compared to others surgeons i had consults with.  I plan on getting my tummy done by him at some point...maybe next spring/summer.  Probably my thighs too.

I found the after care to be excellent...I was outpatient though.  I know some were not happy with some of the nurses in the hospital, but I always say hospitals are  not 5 star hotels.  Nurses are busy and have way too many patients and its the same anywhere you go (except in places like Barix where the ratio is so incredibly low).
