Good MOrning Pam & PA:

Been at work since 7:30, hoping to make it till 3:00 today. My normal hours are 7:30 to 4:00. Since coming back to work I have not made it past 2:30. I have sooooo much work to catch up with but I am soooooooooooooo tired already.

Planning to stop at Curves after work, then home to walk on the treadmill and then another new Tofu recipe. So far so good, Tofu seems to be agreeing with my pouch.

Hope everyone has a great day....

Good morning!

I just left Labcorp (for my one year bloodwork, even though I'm almost 15 months out -- funny how that happened!) and now I'm in my office. I have a few meetings today but nothing major.  I'm hoping today and tomorrow are easy days and then we can just coast into the long weekend.

After work I'm going to the gym for Zumba, and then after that to Shoprite, since I was a bad girl and didn't go last night!  I'm actually thinking that I'll go home and eat dinner first, and then go around 9:00pm, since I'm pretty sure it won't be crowded then.  I think I qualified for one of their free turkeys, so now I need to find a place to donate it to.

I'm finally starting to feel the Thanksgiving spirit, and looking forward to getting up early Thursday, hitting the gym, then preparing a "legal" dessert for myself, then spending the day with my family.  I feel very aware that I have a great many things to be thankful for this year!

Have a happy Tuesday, all!

A lot of the foodstores allow you to donate right to their foodbank - they just take your "ticket" and use it for their collection.

Thanks -- I'll have to check about that when I go. I don't want to see it go to waste.

Good Morning Pam, PA!

Seems like it is gloomy too often lately, but I am not allowing it to make me feel gloomy!

Woo hoo, today and one more day of work this week and then, 4 days off, it will be so wonderful to have 4 days off and, other than TG, I don't have to be anywhere I don't want to, I have no obligations to fulfill, other than to myself and hopefully making some headway within getting things done in my own home, which is not to say I don't enjoy the obligations I have (most of the time), but it's been such a whirlwind of activity for months now, that I need some down time, some ME time and so Friday one of my best g/f's is coming down and I think we are going to go to the movies and see Blindside, cause I don't think Tony would want to see that movie and I believe he is coming down Saturday, so that's my plan and I'm reserving my right to change my mind on everything except the TG dinner at my DIL's parents house!

Oh and can someone tell me why people get stupid when the weather is rainy?

You all have a wonderful day and may you have the strength to get through whatever life presents you with today or the ability to find humor in the mundane of life!

Hugs, Laureen

Hi all,

Not sure what's up for today.  Filled out applications at McDonald's and Jubilee yesterday.  I probably won't her anything until after the holidays.

I think this weekend I will decorate the house, work on my song and watch holiday movies.  Maybe I will spend Thursday through Sunday in my PJs lol

Anyway, have a great day!

Good morning all!

Jo---I hope your mood improves and that your surgery goes well tomorrow!

Nicole---I hope you're feeling better!  As a temp, I understand about not having sick time!

Liz---Did you call your doc?

I'm at work till about 4:00 today.  Gonna be a long slow afternoon---it seems the main software we use isn't working right now, so none of us can access the program.  After work, I have to do some laundry and pack for the holiday (not sure if we're heading to Lancaster tomorrow night or Thanksgiving morning.)  Also have to make the rest of my goodies that I'm taking with us.

Funny that some of you mentioned facebook this morning.  I need to friend some of you so I have people to play games with!  But something amazing happened to me today with fb.  I had put on my status that I made pumpkin bread last night and will be making the pumpkin ricotta mousse, and one of my friends commented on it.  I've never met her, but she friended me last year when we were playing a gardening game.  I offered her the mousse recipe and she wanted to send me one for pumpkin bars.  I explained that I had wls and would try to make her recipe sugar free.  When she wrote back, she told me she had wls 3 years ago!   I'm so amazed at where I'm finding support  and friends these days!!!

Have a great day, everyone!
