***Tuesday Roll Call***
It is amazing how much our confidence is boosted when we feel good about ourselves. Good for you - I bet you used to dream about opening your mouth - and now you did! Mazel Tov! And - how great that hubby supported you in such a wonderful way! This should be a great holiday season for you - you TV star you! :)
Kathy,
That is wonderful that you CAN do some much now, especially, the not letting people put you down part! Isn't life post-WLS wonderful?
Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Good morning Pam and PA - I am hoping the weather clears up soon - I am not quite ready for cold and dark just yet - although, I don't think I am EVER ready for it.
Pam - I still don't know how you and Larry and all the other graveyarders do it night after night. You are true heroes.
So - today is a bit of a gift - I am working and testing until 3:15 then off to only one hebrew school class as my evening classes are not scheduled. I guess due to the holiday - but, it is only TUesday - again.....SO NOT complaining! I will get to be home on a rare Tuesday evening with the kids. Larry is of course, working so I will only see him for a few minutes. I am sure that my night will consist of playing Backgammon on facebook - my newest obsession!
Oh - and I should mention, if anyone watches the 6ABC THanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday morning, my little Emily will be part of it. The Anne Frank Junior Chior and Glee Club are in the parade - they should be on about 10 AM (ish) She is soooo excited! I just found out yesterday that she HAS to go down by bus and return by bus - so there will be no reason for me to go down there and therefore I will be sitting at home watching from my nice warm living room! If you're watching, she is the pipsqueak in the middle front - with no teeth and short hair. I am sure out of the approximately 100 kids, you should be able to pick her out without any difficulty! (HAHA)
On the way into work this morning, I was listening to the 102.9 and their annual Turkey Drop and I think that I am finally starting to feel the holiday spirit. I was worried that with us not being able to afford Disney and my no interest in spending time with my in-laws for Thanksgiving that I was going to be a grinch - but hearing about all the people who are donating their time and money for those less fortunate, that always improves my spirits.
I hope you all have a nice Tuesday.

We are such dorks, Johnny and I will sit on our bed at night, laptops for both of us and we play against each other. Ahhh, technology! We hve a scrabble board and could play that, but we sit next to each other and play it online. LOL
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
